Clean, great location, calm at night, big windows that you can open to enjoy the ocean breeze, we got a great view to the bay area. The bed is super comfortable, the toilette and shower area super clean and with good water pressure. The room is good in size, we had an entry area to leave the shoes and coats the size of a closet, two desks to work or get ready and a full size mirror. Will definitely go back.

Our favorite hotel, so far, on this trip, and one we would love to return to. This fourth generation family run hotel has true charm, character and elegance. The setting is inspiring. It fully lives up to the high standards of Relais et Chateaux hotels. The restaurant is beautiful and offers fine traditional french cuisine. The breakfasts were spectacular-in the sense that there were plenty of home made breads and pastries, freshly squeezed juice and superior coffee. The latter two are becoming a rarity. All through the hotel, there is attractive art work, furniture and rugs reflecting the history of the establishment..

Genuinely a little gem of a place. It was actually right next to the sea, and our sea room view not only had a wonderful view of the waves, but was also surprisingly large with plenty of space. Easy, free parking, a lovely small sauna available and a steam room. And the seats outside right in front of the sea were great. The staff were very kind, and went out of their way to make sure we had a nice time, even opening up the bar earlier to make a latte for us (which is so hard to come by in France, it was truly appreciated). Would also really recommend trying the restaurant for dinner, every dish was lovely, and despite the reviews we actually didn't have a long wait at all for the dishes.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, only few minutes walk from the coast and the center of the village. Our room on the 2nd floor was very spacious and offered stunning views overlooking the spectacular coast line. It was very clean and equipped with everything you needed. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. There were enough free parking spaces available, which was great. The dinner and breakfast were exceptional. If I could I would definitely return!

We had a wonderful short stay, tranquil away from the very busy tourist area which we appreciated, specially this summer. 😊The apartment and the grounds are well kept with complete amenities, they also have WiFi provided. This comes highly recommended. This is great for groups or families. It’s your “home away from home”.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️We met the lovely couple who owns it and they can speak English and French. We will surely return in the future. Thank you.

The public transport system is very good.

The public transport system is very good. Les Capucins and PAM are admirable examples of the transformation of industrial space into cultural and social centres. It's just a pity that there's so much 'tagging' to spoil the urban landscape.

Really liked Quimper. It's a beautiful city.

Really liked Quimper. It's a beautiful city. There is a rich heritage, many old houses, half-timbered houses, pedestrian and shopping streets. The cathedral is monumental, original with its two towers of the 19th and its choir off-center. I went to multiple spots/beaches close to Quimper: 1. Phare d'Eckmühl 2. Plage la Torche-Tronoën 3. Pont-l'Abbé 4. Quimper itself.

Quiet little town with a port.

Quiet little town with a port. Easy to find nice places to eat. Not too touristic during winter. Nice spa thalasso around. Not for anyone who seeks out party places. There is also a reasonably priced Moroccan eatery Le Sable d’Or that serves authentic cous cous and home made baklava! There is also a great seafood restaurant, Le Restaurant La Regate, at Hotel Les Sable Blancs.

Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors alike! The only downside was a lack of a coffee shop/bakery opened during our stay (October!) However our main reason for visiting was to show kids where their dad grew up and we couldn’t wish for a better long weekend! Highly recommend it! Bonus points for Heated Pool in our property we stayed and fantastic running trails!

A very beautiful city, superb streets.

A very beautiful city, superb streets. Worth going to see the pottery museum and exhibition of Breton life. We were disappointed that the exhibition of fine arts was closed for renovation, but a good reason to return to the town when it reopens. The height of the tourist season, the restaurants were extremely busy, too many creperies and taco bars and not enough regular restaurants. More beggars than we are used to, but a few good street musicians as well. The tourist map of town was very useful, obtainable at the tourist information office, but we couldn't find a bigger map showing more of the town and its immediate environment, apart from the OS map. Difficult to find cycle routes around and out of town. The free events in the bishop's garden behind the cathedral were fun.
