Superb luxury experience. The place manages to create an elegant upscale hotel at the same time avoiding two ever present cliches. Most 5* hotels pretend to be some sort of a palace reminiscence or the opposite, an over designed nauseaus avantgarde mashup. Pan pacific delivers super elegant and modern at the same time. Beavo! Great staff. They managed to keep on smiling, sincerely smiling during my 40 minute search for the room with the best view. very good pool area, amazing breakfast. Highly recommended!

From the moment we stepped into the beautiful reception area that was sparkling clean and tastefully decorated for the holidays I knew I made the right choice for our second anniversary! I was so nicely surprised as I had booked online and it was a bit difficult to piece together from the photos which room we would have. Wonderful Nadia, with guest relations, absolutely made our stay even more special with her personal care and truly made of feel generously welcomed. We stay on the 9th floor which was a great experience because you could see quite far including The London Eye in the distance. Getting around by foot and tube was very easy which was a big plus. We loved having the little kitchenette so we could relax and have coffee and breakfast in the room before heading out for the day. The temperature in our room was very good and I loved that the windows actually opened for some fresh air. The bed linens and bed were very comfortable and I was so happy to take a deep bath every day. What a treat it all was!! Thank you to Nadia and the rest of the super friendly staff! Thank you to everyone.

The staff were amazing - from our airport pickup, to check-in, to the concierges and doormen and waiting staff. All were incredibly well trained, efficient, and couldn't wait to assist us with anything. Our breakfasts were amazing - 5 Star doesn't come close to how excellent they were. Our room was very comfortable and full of wonderful little thoughtful touches. The Ritz was a once-in-a-lifetime destination for a special weekend and I will never forget how special everyone made us feel.

The location is amazing, the hotel very nice and clean, and the staff were amazing. We only stayed one night (and were given a very unexpected and much appreciated upgrade to a suite), but enjoyed the spa and the breakfast and would more than happily stay here again. Also, the hotel was excellent value for money compared to other hotels in the Mayfair area (nearly 1/3 of the price) and I don't know what the other hotels could provide extra that would justify the higher price.

The area we visited near Waterloo station was a thriving community , it felt safe and welcoming when walking around. Lovely eating places for a breakfast bap, authentic Thai and Italian restaurants visited, reasonably priced. Great value for money, welcoming and not pretentious! What did suprise is was the high entrance fees for certain places! Feel it does not encourage families to experience the history and architecture of so many places. The local parks were well worth a visit to see flora, fauna and wildlife!

Hounslow is a lively and diverse area with plenty to explore. My favorite spots were Osterley Park and House for its peaceful greenery and Hounslow High Street for shopping and local life. Getting around is easy thanks to the Piccadilly Line and regular buses connecting to Heathrow and Central London. I enjoyed delicious meals at Taste of Lahore, Twentynine Restaurant & Bar, and several vibrant street food stalls offering kebabs, samosas, and fresh curries. For quick bites and essentials, Quality Foods supermarket was a great find, offering authentic ingredients and ready-made meals from around the world. Hounslow is ideal for solo travelers, with friendly locals, great food options, and convenient access to nearby attractions like Richmond and Kew Gardens

Negative- difficult to get into property and some housekeeping issues were problematic eg bathroom door could not be closed, only one hook to hang clothes, one chair.

Richmond is a wonderful town, with plenty of entertainment such as theatres and cinema, especially Richmond Theatre on Richmond Green. There are plenty of wonderful walking routes and parks, Richmond Royal Park is beautiful. Loads of fantastic Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. Excellent transport links across London and wider areas. Richmond can be expensive, but is worth the extra costs for a short break.
