CanadaWe were upgraded to a double from 2 single beds at no extra charge and no fuss. Manager was very helpful and showed us a lovely clean room with great clean bathroom. Entire place was spotless.
The location was excellent.
The attached Chinese restaurant was one of the best I've ever eaten in and I've eaten in many.

We loved how big our apartment was. Our daughter had her own room and bathroom and we all had a separate living room with majestic high ceilings and a big kitchen. A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. The whole experience at this place was excellent. The scenery was to die for. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and other travellers were lovely to meet. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have stayed in throughout our entire trip. The manager is an exceptional helpful, lovely person, would highly recommend this facility to travellers.
