The location is peaceful, the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff at the hotel were exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot through the door, we were greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. Their attentive and welcoming nature made us feel right at home. Moreover, the dining experience was equally impressive. The room was comfortable, spacious, and impeccably clean, with excellent TV and Wi-Fi. Overall, it was a truly memorable stay that I highly recommend for anyone seeking a serene getaway.

I like how the owners keep up the old style of the hotel. This gives the hotel a very special atmosphere. Impressive to see how the owners involve themselves to all jobs in the hotel, from reception to serving in the restaurant and for breakfast.
The restaurant serves attractively composed and prepared/seasoned dishes.
This is why I even do detours on my route to stay at Killin Hotel.

As the accommodation was at the top of the building we had to climb about 30 steps to get to it. I tried to explain that to the check in lady that my wife has troubles climbing stairs and she was very dismissive and blamed Booking.com as they allocate the rooms.

The studio was comfy with wonderful views of the loch.
The studio was comfy with wonderful views of the loch. Not modern, but all the creature comforts were accommodated which made it a great place to relax. A beautiful hotel with bar and restaurant is close by and the food is great quality.
