Angela at the front desk was wonderfully friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. We wanted to stay outside busy Tenby and this lovely hotel is peaceful and quiet but also close enough to easily reach Tenby by taxi. The rooms are large and airy, with big comfortable beds , Clean and quiet. The food and service at Lokky's was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this warm, welcoming hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here!

First of all, the location is absolutely superb. Going to sleep to the sound of the waves at high tide breaking against the base of the cliffs, waking up to the sound of seagulls and the sun streaming in through the window. We had a second floor room with a perfect sea view. The room itself was comfortable, nicely decorated... not luxurious but perfect for us. The bed was excellent. Some reviewers on here have complained about the bathrooms, but ours was absolutely fine with plenty of hot water. We liked the decor in the breakfast room, and the breakfast itself was really good. I had the full cooked breakfast (special mention for the sausage), my partner had very tasty salmon and scrambled eggs on toast. There was a nice fresh fruit salad (the red berries were really good). We only stayerd for one night, before meeting family who live locally, but would happily stayed for longer. All in all, highly recommended.

We loved everything about the Normandie Hotel. A perfect location . The receptionist /does everything person checked us in , helped carry bags in & up the 3 flights of stairs , showed us into our large room . Nothing was too much trouble . If only all staff were so helpful and lovely ! Highly recommend staying here . Our car was safe in a parking building , a wee way away , but safe in there . We walked all over the beautiful town of Tenby .

Unlike some other coastal towns which essentially close down over the winter Saundersfoot was pleasantly busy. There are 7 restaurants/pubs open 7 days a week which is impressive for a small village, the ones we tried served very good food. Also 6 cafes for lunch or coffee/tea stops. The coastal path to Amroth is an easy 6 mile round trip on solid paths. The path west to Tenby is tougher and can be very wet and muddy. Buses are an easy way to get into Tenby or up to Haverfordwest for day trips.

Milford Haven having a small working harbour & marina is a nice relaxing area for a short break. There’s lots to explore nearby including Tenby & Saundersfoot and the Pembrokeshire countryside. Within the town is also a McDonald’s & Costa Coffee, so great for food & drink on the go. The marina adds a bit of interest with its few shops & restaurants overlooking it. Will definitely come back here…

Newport was recommended to us by several people. In spite of the wet weather we enjoyed our trip. Pretty village, interesting shops including Ffynnon, amazing selection of books, candles, art and much more. Great places to eat especially Lys Meddyg. Beaches nearby. A good place to visit, quiet and peaceful but it was early Autumn. I imagine it gets very busy in summer, but children would no doubt love it 😊
