Absolutely the best experience we had! Room was middle size, everything was clean, lamps had usb slots, room had coffee machine and a kettle with instructions how to use. It was a great stay, every effort was taken to make the stay comfortable and pleasant, and even a doggy had some cuddles and attention :)

A bit difficult to find but once you’re there it’s in a lovely spot on a golf course. The staff were all very nice. Breakfast was very good. Spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend.

Excellent b/fast for all 3 of us. Well looked after by Paul and the very cheerful gentleman who served b/fast.Just out of interest, to us anyway, is that we had our wedding reception at the George on the 18th May 1963 so has always been a special place.

Located in a beautiful country side, this hotel absorbs all the history, over hundred years, with its interiors and fittings that can be seen in the lobby the moment you arrive. Jack was a fabulous guest relations officer although he was an intern. I almost thought he was member of the family that owns Rutland until I read the beautiful narrations of how the hotel has changed ownerships over the years and now owned by the Patels. We enjoyed the breakfast at the restaurant although it was a bit of a walk up the hill. We really needed the walk but not sure if this is convenient for senior citizens. Loved the gym too!

All good. Clean, quiet. Only improvement would be a cooked breakfast that we would be happy to pay extra for. But we knew what was available so there was no disapointment.

A lovely market town.

A lovely market town. I would not recommend the Everest lounge in church street. After ordering veggie Momo and waiting 30 minute's for it to be cooked I was given chicken Momo. And the restaurant only had 4 other customers.

Lovely location and premises, room was clean, perhaps toilet need a little bleach, slightly stained, but I’m a self employed cleaner so abit fussy, good size room and great view over course, even though we were visiting family, still ideal stay even though not playing golf, everyone very friends and helpful, parking was good and property easy to find

Seaton is a pretty village and the pub and its staff were fantastic! Locals were really friendly too! We ate in the pub during the evening and it was delicious. The full English breakfast was too! The room we stayed in was great for our needs and really good value.

Excellent facility in a lovely village.

Excellent facility in a lovely village. Ambience and food good, staff very pleasant. The only downside for us seems to be the distance off the A1 and the M1--we often travel from Northumberland to the south of UK, and the Leicester area is a nice distance from home if we want to split the trip with an o'night.

I would rate this accommodation as 4.5 out of 5 Our room had a new en suite, could do with new beds as we found them soft. The hosts are excellent, and overall the facilities are excellent, shared tv lounge as well as tv in room, the only downside with North Luffenham is lack of EV charge point.

A surprisingly spacious small cottage, extremely comfortable with a sizeable kitchen. It is situated in a quiet area with a pub only 200 metres away. Having a secure lawned garden, this property would suit solo visitors, couples and small families, and dogs are allowed. Although parking is on the road this was never a problem. The cottage is situated close to Rutland Water which is a 'must see' for visitors to the area. I thoroughly recommend this lovely little cottage.

The location of our accommodation meant we were able to visit several places in Rutland - as well as just on the outskirts - including Stamford, Uppingham, Oakham (and Melton Mowbray on our return home!) Uppingham itself is a small market type town with some interesting independent shops and pubs. Worth a visit for a little mooch around but you don't need too long to walk around the centre/main streets.
