The staff were amazing. We upgraded our room after arriving late and tired. The customer service on the front desk was very helpful and even rebooked our dinner since we arrived late and missed it. We had a thomas room which was huge, clean and spacious for a family.

Noisy, band playing from 9pm and it sounded like it was in my room - only thing the staff could say was “Were there no ear plugs in your room? Oh I’ll speak to housekeeping” - so they knew this was a noisy room! I booked the room to have an early night before a long journey the next day - big mistake!

After breaking down (Tuesday), in the City, prior to arriving @ our Booking of Holiday Inn, we spent the entire day (Wednesday 17th) there, awaiting vehicle to be fixed (QUIKFIT)! If you have time, have a walk around the castle grounds. I went for a little wonder and it was stunning. I wish I had more time, but I will make time to visit again. If your looking for somewhere to stay, I recommend the Tamworth Arms Hotel. Its stunning and the food is amazing.

We stayed in Cannock simply bc it was central to all the family who live in every direction within a 20/30 minute radius. Cannock is a pretty town with all the amenities and shopping you could want and super friendly people everywhere we went. I would come back here in a heart beat next time we visit England (from Australia)

Leek is a lively and historic market town with a wide variety of real ale pubs. It is conveniently situated for both Stoke-on-Trent and the potteries and for the Peak District. We wish we had explored it sooner.

We stayed one night in this detached house and found it to be great value for money. It was comfortable, warm, and very spacious — perfect for a short stay. The massive garden was a real bonus, especially for the dogs who loved having so much space to run around. The kitchen is a little dated but perfectly functional. Overall, a pleasant and practical place to stay, especially if you’re travelling with pets.

Booking.com does not have correct info about checkin after 6pm, it is possible via lock box though booking.com says no check in after 6pm. The surrounding does not seem safe on a weekend after 6pm to a new comer, no barriers for parking etc. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Restaurant staff is helpful but Restaurant looks tired and old
