We stayed one night and actually tried to book another night but the property was fully booked. We visited the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle but ran out of time. We'd happily return again and take a bit more time to look around.Guest review byMarciaAustralia - 10.0

As a Scot I know Drymen well, also Buchanan Castle Estate where I was a member at the golf club. In 1986 we transferred to Australia due to my employer. I am pleased to say that not much has changed since thenGuest review byJamesAustralia - 10.0
A small village in Scottish Highlands.
A small village in Scottish Highlands. I'd recommend to have a short stop there if you are going more up North. If you need to stay overnight then you will find several hotels and cabins (for rent). There are a couple of good restaurants and cafes. There is a small shop and a petrol station too.Guest review byDenisUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The town as everything you need, several pubs and resturants, shops, small supermarket (Tesco express opposite property) Co-op the other end of High Street. Tourist Info centre had lots of walking, cycling leaflets and places to visit. A good weeks worth of walking & cycling from the front door.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Lodge was fantastic.
Lodge was fantastic. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was an issue. It was nice and peaceful. I'd have stayed a lot longer if I could. Everything you need is literally on the doorstep. Staff at the village shop were lovely and even took our photo as we just got married the day we arrived. Chris was very welcoming anytime we needed anything from the wee shop.Guest review byHand - 8.0

We expected it to be nice but when we arrived we were simply blown away by the lodge and the peaceful park it is based in. The lodge was spacious and clean and had everything a family needed for a relaxing break. The bedrooms were great and the shower and bath facility was also top class. The WiFi was as good as anywhere I've ever stayed and the park with private beach was truly spectacular. We couldn't recommend this place more if we tried and will be coming back every year as the owner was very helpful and friendly as well.Guest review byGaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely town. Cathedral is beautiful and very interesting. The riverside is also lovely and I would have liked to walk along the riverside walk if I had more time! Museum is also interesting, and there were some really nice little gift shops to browse through!Guest review byAnonymous
