I will highly recommend to stay Leonardo in Bristol. The facility is new and clean. I have enough space in the room. After a whole day long business meeting, the room let me feel so confortable and slept so well during the three nights. The buffet breakfast is also delicious and fantasitc, you can choose what you wanna eat. I tried different food each day. I will defintely choose this hotel again when I back to Bristol next time!

What an enchanting place suffused with so much history! You could feel the ghosts of Henry the VIII and his wives and mistresses wandering the gardens and the halls. We were luck with the weather - sunshiny and summerlike - and spent the late afternoon and early evening sitting out in one of the gardens listening to the blackbird songs. The dinner in the library was excellent - everything prepared with infinite care and attention. And the service was attentive but not intrusive. The gardens, a recent labor of love, are just now coming into full realization. A perfect stay.

The location is amazing - just below the famous suspension bridge, which is in walking distance. We did have a drink on the patio, which has great views of the bridge and the Avon River. We didn't eat there , but there are a number of great restaurants in the area. The room was very comfortable. The room came with all the amenities that you would expect from a top class hotel.

Bristol is a busy city, all going on, universities, theatres, restaurants, bars, clubs etc. Easy access from M5, Clifton is of particular interest to me for it's village feel! These days could not last as long as I would like, age thing. Busy city and only criticism, council with all their controls and regulations appear to want to make it as hard as possible to go there.

I did not meet any staff on either arrival or departure but had previously spoken to the owner on the telephone who was most helpful. I notice you have a lovely photo of a property in Redhill which people might think is Hathway House! A better map based on walking from the airport is required. Loved the rocking chair & custard creams!

Almondsbury Village is an attractive village with a pub and community shop. The Swan Hotel up the hill, on the by pass road (A38), does good meals. There is a lay by to see the views over the Severn estuary and both bridges from the top of the hill leading down to the village. If you are staying in the hotels on the bypass it's a challenging walk both to cross the dual carriageway and walk up and down the steep hill down to the village.

A pleasant environment.

A pleasant environment. Three decent pubs: up-market Royal Inn overlooking the Severn, a good, Weatherspoons with better than usual staff, another pub over-looking the harbour basin. Portishead a good place to stroll around. Lidl and Waitrose alongside the hotel and M5 just 5 mins away.

There was nothing much where we stayed in the actual village but a Garden centre was nearby for breakfasts and a local store for snacks and drinks and anything else we needed. Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away from the hotel was not great, some pubs were shut or not serving food and the Hungry Horse has a policy of shutting at 10 pm every day other than weekends - loads of Charity Shops but not much else however the easy access to Bath and Bristol by train make Keynsham a good place to stay if wishing to explore the area.

You could clearly see that renovation was being undertaken the front looked charming and the restaurant was very comfortable and food very good. On arrival it didn’t feel welcoming and when we highlighted a broken piece ce of furniture the attitude to it was lack lustre. I can clearly see the potential for this to be a hidden as the town is picturesque.
