- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 752 reviewsBooked to see concert at Open Air Theatre and to spend weekend at Scarborough. Venue was just a minute walk away from The Sands. Accommodation was on the beach so we just walked on to beach for a swim from the Apartment block. 5+ star quality. High tech security. Welcome Hamper awaited us with milk, tea and biscuits, packet of crisps, mini bottle of wine, beer and even sparkling water. Staff were really caring and friendly. I had a fall while walking, so they even provided me with bandage dressing and plasters. Apartment had all mod cons you can think of. Very tastefully furnished. Even Netflix on HD TV. Everything was perfect!Guest review bygerryUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,720 reviewsEverything was beautiful. The house was so beautiful. Immaculate. Location lovely facilities nice. Washing machine, at the property and and a dish washer was a luxury to say the least when having 7 for family dinner. It is beautiful for all ages, the swimming pool , sauna and steam room are lovely. The little arcade and shop, with an onsite pharmacy is so convenient. Takeaway wine is very pricey from the bar but they do a mean long island cocktail. XGuest review byJayUnited Kingdom

Very lovely place and beautiful garden facility with stunning seaside view 😍 Food was delicious but small evening menu. Breakfast with a sea view something worth a distance to come and experience. Great team of people I had a chance to meet. They do a lot of improvements too what is very nice to see.Guest review byMaciagiewiczPoland

The food and drinks festival was on so plenty to do.
The food and drinks festival was on so plenty to do. Lots of stalls. Always plenty to explore when in York. The Old York Tea house was worth a visit, so was the trembling madness, up stairs in the shop they have a pub worth seeing and the food looked good. We had an evening meal at Bill's who do a 2 course set menu for around £18.Guest review byCarolUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I travel to Leeds regularly and I love it.
I travel to Leeds regularly and I love it. It is a compact city with everything you need, the people are friendly and there are plenty of good places to eat. I particularly recommend the Henry Moore sculpture museum, which is small but has brilliant exhibitions. Taking a boat trip to the Armouries museum is fun, and pottering around the Corn Exchange is something I always doGuest review byAllanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

For over 60 years I have found the people of Sheffield the most welcoming population for my many enquiries over that time regarding 'where' places are in and around the city centre and the wider area and how to find them. Not only are they very helpful and welcoming BUT the number of residents who have offered to take me to a point where I could either see my destination OR see a significant landmark to reach/find my destination. It happened again this weekend - it always happpens and they are so reliable in their efforts, their care for people, it seems to come naturally to them to make visitors welcome ... notable and remarkable. Well done people of Sheffield and THANK YOU. The Bus Station/Interchange staff are similarly extremely helpful ... nothing is too much trouble. THANK YOU. My OAP Bus Pass/ENCTS Pass qualifies me for free travel on the Sheffield Trams but I live in the outskirts of Greater Manchester = TfGM area. Another 'plus' to add to the attraction of Sheffield. THANK YOU, Sheffield. This weekend, I explored the woderful Sheffield Round and today enjoyed Porter Valley in the glorious sunshine of the first day of Autumn - excellent cafe and staff and facilites at Forge Dam - I thoroughly recommend. THANK YOU to everybody at Forge Dam.Guest review byKathleen EdwardsUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Bradford is a city from the past, run down whilst attempting to be modern, too many tastes to please... Having said all that it is my CITY, I was born in a Bradford suburb went to school there and love it as the place of my birth and childhood. It used to be a proud City now it is a shadow of its former past. Why it can be considered as a 'City of culture' is beyond me... All its history and magnificence is compromised all its character has been replaced by extremist ideologies that DO NOT WORK in harmony and certainly are not on the same page. INCLUSIVITY intentions RESULTS IN EXCLUSIVITY in reality... Revisit history where you can, the Town hall is a very fine building, St Georges Hall and the Alhambra are steeped in history and grand days. The Midland Hotel and Great Victoria need returning to their splendid past, alas as with most things years of damage perhaps means that is impossible. What next 'decent public transport in and out of the city centre would certainly help!!!!Guest review byAlan & KateUnited Kingdom - 8.0
