The building is typical old Georgian ´Oda’ with modernised elements that complements surrounding furniture and environment. Good service adds a beauty to the environment. I stayed here in the summer with my family whilst hiking in surrounded area and visiting friends and family. Nice and pleasurable stay. A bit pricey though.

cool little hotel placed right on the beach offers comfort and style. Around here, the closer you get to the beach the better. There is not much around and you better drive 4x4 to get to the sandy entrance. But it was exactly what suited us for the moment.

Excellent service, pleasant personal and exceptional kitchen(3 meals a day, buffet). The room for 4 people was extremely convenient. The hotel contains several buildings, 2 of them are with tourist rooms. The layout is quite compact and convenient, the 2 swimming pools are fit great into the location. There is dedicated path to the beach(less then 5 minutes of walking). I and family passed great time there(1 week), hopefully we'll return there again. BTW, it was a surprise the hotel offers own free transfer to special shops, and to railway in the check out date.

The room is spacious, has everything that you would need for a stay: fridge, drying racks, cloth pins, AC, comfortable mattress, nice pillows, and the safe. If you need a kettle, you may ask the receptionist. Local people said that you can drink the water from the tap, but I'm not sure! Cleaning is provided every 3 days, when they change the towels, bath supplies, and bedding.

The location, the hotel and the hosts were excellent!.

The location, the hotel and the hosts were excellent!. Peace and quiet everywhere. It's just the place for relaxation. It was easy to get to the place, however, the local authorities should have cared more about the surroundings!

Ureki is plagued with hastil build "luxury" hotels, loads of bars, discos, junk shop, booze shops. Maybe nice if you´re from Russia and go for party, but I would not call it a "nice" place for holidays. But different people have different standards and different expectations, so that´s just me.

In my estimation, Bakhmaro represents one of the most remarkable destinations worldwide. The panoramic views of the encircling mountains, coupled with the crisp air and lush greenery, were absolutely breathtaking. The experience was so surreal, it was akin to traversing through a dream.

We enjoyed going to the local market for fruit, meat for bbq...

We enjoyed going to the local market for fruit, meat for bbq, Georgian dishes and wine, and had a pleasant dinner on the terrace. Go to the Niabauri restaurant (10 min), you can eat and swim in the river. Check for tea farms near Ozurgeti (Taba Tea house), they do a guiding tours and have tea tasting ceremonies. The Black Sea is 50 minutes away, we went twice. Travel to Gomismta (45 minutes, 2300m, good road), stop the car near the church building and hike on foot and discover the beautiful alpine plateau. In all, it is simply beautiful place in subtropical mountains.

Beach is dirty, sea water is dirty, no great food options around - just found one restaurant called Retro in front of the hotel Rista Resort, it's a family restaurant with good Georgian food. Other than that, not many options to dine and enjoy even great coffee.

Great location, pine forest on one side and the sea on the other. The black sand is claimed to have therapeutic qualities and supposed to be good for people with knee and pack pain. The pine forest provide a refreshing atmosphere. It located about 30-40min from Batumi, making it a tranquil and quality stay. If you are looking for peace and quiet, therapeutic and family fun stay, then Shekvetili is the place. I loved it and will visit next time with my family.

Ureki is a small town filled with restaurants for tourists.

Ureki is a small town filled with restaurants for tourists. Most of the places are not listed on google maps or tripadvisor so some wandering around the town is suggested. Found 2 large abandoned compounds in the north section of the town, probably were old hotels. Cows can sometimes be spotted on the road. There is bus transport to Batumi and Kutaisi from the main road. One particularly pretty thing in Ureki is the sunset on the beach.
