It is our second time at the Nautilux Crete. The first time we became in love with everything. The beauty of the Hotel. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very new and well maintained. The staff is the best. Always with a smile on the face. We love the minimalism and modern design of this Hotel. The beach. The view. The service at the pool and at the beach. The food is amazing. This time we receive an upgrade and the suite with the jacuzzi was wonderful. We just have good things to share with the others. Absolutely nothing to complain.

the best hotel weve been to in Crete. rooms enourmous, everything is rather new. it was raining for the half of the day during our staying, so we rented private jacuzzi with hammam for two hours (price was 15eur per person per hour, so only 60eur in total for entirely private spa time). highly recommend this hotel!

We fly to chania 4 friends and stayed in Morum city hotel for 4 night , I want to say it was the best experience I have ever had in a hotel, first of all the rooms and the room service was excellent, they take care of everything we want and even when our friend dress was get dirty they clean it out in a few minutes only!! Second the location! , I admit at first the location doesn’t look as good as you think , but I am promise to you you will realize how good it is when you want to come back from a bar in the center of a city or from a shopping and you will get to the hotel just in a few minutes walking that will seem to you as a few seconds!! Last and most important is the crew of the hotel! , all of them are so helpful and cute , get you everything you need very pleasant and lovely, and do and letting you do much ideas on what to do on your free time in chania , get you taxis to where ever you like when you would ask them to . And I want to say a big big thank you to the Sum , sum is a wonderful worker that help as and was so nice to as during all of our time in the hotel She help and save as from going to places that look good but they not ! And just was the best . the hotel and as just won that she will be there and you can trust her to be there for you to every request you will have Thank you for making our trip tens time better !! Centuries of History, Days of Sunshine

The largest Greek island, mountainous Crete has stunning beaches, plenty of history and as much or little nightlife as you want. Party town Malia has many bars, clubs and restaurants on its Strip.

Along the coast is the capital Heraklion, a bustling city home to many Crete hotels on the beach, and a Venetian castle guarding its port. Its archaeological museum includes finds from the island’s Minoan era, while just inland are the Roman remains of Knossos.

Also boasting a Venetian castle is Rethymnon, a popular resort with a good number of Crete hotels with private pools on Booking.com. Loggerhead turtles nest in season on the sandy beaches here and at Chania, an important port with an attractive waterfront set against the backdrop of mountains.

On the other side of the island is Aghios Nikolaos, a small fishing town with a picturesque harbour. Just north is Elounda, a popular family resort, and offshore is Spinaloga island, inspiration behind the book ‘The Island’. Matala in the south has a bohemian vibe and intriguing cliff dwellings, while Paleokastro in the east borders Europe’s largest palm forest at Vai.

Comunication with the hotel was very easy and comfortable over the booking chat option and they really tried their very best to help with all our questions! Then the hotel/grounds/garden and the beach were very beautiful and very well kept. We couldn't get enough of the views! Even tough we had a garden view room we had an amaizing view of the mountains, the garden AND the sea which we enjoyed immenesly! One of the best things though was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff!! Everyone was so nice and courteous, we felt like VIPs all stay long! Special compliments to Giannis and Ioanna from the reception, they were the sweetest people we have met in a long time! We really enjoyed our conversations and they made our stay extra special! We also grew fond of Vivi from the beach bar, she was always enthusiastic and sunny and made the best cocktails! The entertainment all day was excellent as well! There were many options you could choose from and we enjoyed participating. :) All in all we can really recommend staying at Meli Palace to relax! We loved the Food/Snacks/drinks in the All-inclusive package and already miss it!

    The beach and the sea are just lovely. The pools and the grounds are great. The food is delicious, and you can never go hungry with the all-inclusive option. On a parenting side note, We had two transfers to a nearby clinic for a pediatric visit. All was organized in minutes by the front desk and the hotel doctor without any hassle. We also weren't charged for the extended checkout, which was very thoughtful, considering our daughter wasn't feeling well then. Thank you Creta Maris. We'll definitely come back soon!

    Chania is sich a loveluy place, the Venetian harbour, lighthouse and narrow streets - all pedestrianised. You do have to walk a little way from the bus or taxi to accommodation. You can go for a horse and carriage drive round the town. The Synagogue is veyr interesting and you can hire a car or take a bus to Souda Bay cemeteries both British and German towns further along the coast from Chania. Such a vast selection of tavernas, good food and prices and they usually offer you a free desert and drink of Raki after the meal. The local people are helpfula nd very welcoming. If it should be windy by the harbour, just one street away it will be calm, away from the wind. There are two Apart from aslight incline in the mains treet it is mostly on the level which is good for older people. beaches. The new market is under refurbishment but will be a wonderful place to visit when it is completed. Many fashion shops and also upmarket boutiques, cermaics and leather goods, coats, bags and sandals. The weather is great from end April until end October.

    The town was buzzing and full of life.

    The town was buzzing and full of life. Some excellent restaurants (peskesi a stand out) Beaches were stunning especially when blessed with perfect summer weather. BUT, the traffic is terrible, parking is difficult, road-rules are optional and the lane-ways are very narrow. Visiting Knossos is an absolute must.

    The city itself has everything you could ever need and more. prices are fair and its stunningly beautiful. A city can be beautiful and full of wonderful things to see and do, but its always the people that make your stay. i expected Tourist Fatigue by the time we went in September. But everyone we met was gracious helpful warm and kind.

    As it’s built into the mountains, reasonable mobility is desirable, however it is disable friendly and the taxis are cheap, On site there are lots of steps and inclines to the facilities, as well as lifts, but I’m sure a persons needs could be accommodated to all the pools and restaurants. I’m 71 and managed to walk into town/star beach ok, enjoyed the exercise tbh! Overall the hotel is brilliant for families with children of all ages. I would go back for sure! The town is superb, so much choice for eating/drinking out, shopping good, usual touristy stuff! People are friendly and very helpful.

    Nice city, easy access to sea sports and boat cruises A small but nice commercial zone with everything you need. Some nice restaurants around the small lake : For example Migomis Piano Restaurant, very good food, and Gioma Meze, nice view on the city and lake

    Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.

    Malia is a great base for exploring eastern Crete,as it is well served by public transport,car hire is easy and reasonable,but if you just want to eat,drink ,sunbathe and play in a pool,on a beach or in a club or bar it is great too.

    Difficult to judge because we came early in the season when there was a cold wind blowing and not all the places were open. However, there didn't seem to be many places to eat [not a problem for us as there was one excellent place, though would be a problem peak season] . There were a number of apparently abandoned and ill-maintained buildings, which made the place appear less attractive.

    Palaiochora is a little piece of Paradise.

    Palaiochora is a little piece of Paradise. Fantastic beaches , food and scenery. We hired a car and drove around the area, a little scary as the roads in the mountains are rather challenging. We hope to return to this very romantic location some day .

    lovely holiday spot, plenty of shops and restaurants, everyone extremely friendly and helpful. About an hour from airport, went to spinalonga and did a few walks, also did the 4 hour train ride which was lovely to see mountains, bit of history etc, wasnt too hot. Both of the bays were good and safe for swimming - one of them a bit pebbly getting in, the other was fine. Supermarkets well stocked. Elounda is flat so easy for walking although pavements a little bumpy. All very accessible and walkable
