We have just returned from an unforgettable holiday at the Amazon Suites and I can’t wait to share our experience! From the very beginning, our family holiday was filled with comfort and joy. The hotel staff greeted us with smiles and offered refreshments, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. I would especially like to mention Kostas - he was always there, ready to help and make our holiday even more comfortable. His friendliness and attention to detail really made our stay special. The rooms we stayed in were spacious, with a magnificent view of the sea. We felt like home! The hotel offers many amenities for a family holiday. The children loved the pool, and we enjoyed relaxing moments on the sun loungers. Breakfasts were a real treat: fresh fruits, pastries and a variety of dishes for every taste. Dining on the terrace with a view of the sunset was simply magical! The location of the hotel was also ideal. We easily got to nearby beaches and local attractions. The staff were always ready to help with recommendations for excursions and activities. Overall, Amazon Suites was a true oasis of peace and comfort for us. We left with wonderful memories and a desire to return again. I recommend this hotel to all families looking for a quality holiday in Greece!

I am honest when I am saying, this hotel is more better where we ever have been. Here everybody is so kind, helpful and they do their best to enjoy your holiday especially the reception ladies. We love them! We hope that we come back to Santorini as soon as possible and enjoy the opportunities given by the Cycladic Suites.

Everything about Orama exceeded our expectations.. The highlight was our room which overlooked the sunset, but everything was perfect - a particular thank you to all the staff who made our stay all that much better! The hotel is only a five minute walk away from the centre of Fira and even walking home at midnight, and beyond, you feel nice and safe.

Nicoletta (Who also co owns this place) and Connie were fantastic hosts. Their SPA (heated pool, Steam and Sauna room) were fantastic. Not even a single flaw or negative feedback that we would have.     I have to make a big shoutout to this amazing hotel, not only because of the accommodations but also the people running this hotel. Firstly, the accommodations: the bedroom was exactly like the pictures, the beds were so comfy, they were fixed to the ground in the same white material of the walls and ceilings, not making any noise… so beautiful! There was a skylight in the big bathroom, making much brighter than we were expecting! The room was connected with other rooms through a lovely patio where we eat our big and excellent breakfast (from which we could, arrange a good snack for the day!). If there was noise from the patio, we could hear it easily I admit, but everyone was respectful, luckily! The patio was a short stair away from the amazing pool, whit a big area to relax around the pool on those hot days (dreamy really!). The location is really central, from the bus station you have to walk a little bit, but it didn’t bother us (you have the possiblility to ask for transfer if you prefer!) And the sunrise... breathtaking! Everything was so nice; you won’t be disappointed at all! And last but not the least, the personnel… They helped us in a stressful time (a wallet was stolen/lost) and they guide as thought all process, arranging transportation to the airport in a late hour and such a short notice. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done for us. I’ll write here an important tip: if you travel to an island in Greece by airplane, make sure if you have to have a layover, make it in Athens. If your ID cards get stolen, if you have only a layover inside the country, you will only need to go to the police and get a paper (written in Greek). If that is not the case, you have to fly to Athens to your embassy and spend easily almost 100€ a flight (is way fastest than the boat) to go there and take care of everything you need, adding another 100€ to come back to the island. Is an all-day loss. Regardless all the setbacks, we highly recommend this hotel!

    We absolutely loved our one night stay as everything was fabulous. The staff is really welcoming and helpful, the reception lady and Mickael were really nice. Our suite was beautiful and clean, very spacious. The bathtub inside was a delight, the bed was super confortable. The view from our big balcony with our personal pool, on the caldera, was breathtaking. We enjoyed a good cocktail (pricy but worth it) by the pool bar with its unbelievable scenery, before ordering room service from the restaurant. Everything was delicious, generous and fresh. The same perfect experience at breakfast : we had a beautiful view on the sea and the buffet was really, really good and varied (local small dishes such as tzatziki or vegetables canapés, local charcuteries and cheeses, eggs, bacon, croissants, puffed salted pastry, variety of breads and fruits, crudités, Greek yogurt bar, deserts and pâtisseries etc), it was absolutely perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer !

But Sometimes you hear the airplane taking off and landing because it's near the Santorini airport- There's a Louis market near til 11pm open where you can buy groceries Near the beach good for nature lover and sunrise lover. Near bus station it's like 3-5 minute walk but the schedule is like 3 hours interval, 7,10,14,17 and 19, 5 times a day only. Going to Fira capital of Santorini. Only 2 euro But there's a lot of taxi but it's costly. Overall I rate it 9.5/10 Super good!

    The view is to die for. Great food and excellent, fast room service. The bed was super comfortable, and the pool was heated when needed. One evening, I even got to witness a wedding in the hotel from my little balcony , cheers to the couple, it was beautiful.     We visited Mykonos during September 2025.

    We visited Mykonos during September 2025. Stayed 14 days there. Visited the most important beaches and several very good restaurants. We rented a car. During our holiday the days were mostly windy so we spent the most of time at beaches of island south side. (beaches Ornos, Psarou, Paradise and super Paradise). After visiting to windmills we went to Paralia Megali Ammos. Mikonos is offering something for everybody - very good (and not expensive) restaurants located in old city port, near of Municipal Library and deeper inside of Hora (Kostas restaurant).

    Fira is a great town full of varied shops and fantastic places to eat. It can be expensive so plan a little extra money for food though! There are plenty of things to do an see in the town and the public transport to other areas of the island are quite frequent and cheap. There are lots of steep inclines and stairs so keep that in mind, you'll be doing a lot of walking up hills

    A wonderful place with so much to see.

    A wonderful place with so much to see. A peaceful place full of history. Portara is beautiful both day and night, and even more so at sunset. With a few tours, you can reach Delos, a wonderful island full of history! Near the port of Naxos there are very nice restaurants and pubs for all tastes. The market streets with all the shops are also very suggestive. Tours of the island are also highly recommended.

    Oia is stunning, especially at sunset, but in September it felt overrun with cruise ship crowds and influencers. We loved our simple apartment with its incredible views, starry nights, and the local cats and donkeys. Food and wine are excellent but expensive, and swimming isn’t easy without hiring a car or scooter. Beautiful to see once, but not ideal if you’re on a budget or want a relaxed swim-and-rest holiday.

    We loved spending 6 nights in Paros. We rented a car. It was stick shift. A tad scary for me. But it was doable. Paros has great beach clubs. My daughters booked horse riding one day and then walked to the nearby town. After we met at a great beach club, we had lots of great dinners and sunsets. Fabulous shops. We drove to Leifros one day. We like Paros best. Taxis were outside the hotel. Also there was a transport office two doors up that arranged rides to beach club for us and picked us up. Our water sports boat trip was cancelled bc of weather but we went to beach clubs,

    It's one of the main port areas.

    It's one of the main port areas. Easy to get around to other destination. We used the public transport.. the local bus was just perfect.. takes you all along the island, just should now where you want to go and if confused the bus depo has a small kiosk with all information. A useful tip you can purchase a 10 euro pass pp, applicable for the whole day, just hop on and hop off the bus at various locations and see at your pace. Or else a one way journey cost u 2 euro

    Loved the small town and very friendly shopkeepers/restaurant staff etc. It was very easy to become familiar with the area. The port was very pretty and overall it was very clean in the tourist areas. The bus was handy and ran to schedule. The restaurants were great, reasonably priced, good quality food. Loved Adamas.

    Lots of lovely tavernas and bars. The locals are really friendly. Take beach shoes as the pebbles can be painful under foot. Be careful to find out where the rocks in the sea are slippery. The beach closer towards the rock (The Hook Bar end) has a safer entrance to the sea. Dimitris Greek night is great fun, there is an open air cinema close by, too! Great reviews. There are too many places to recommend for food, drink, sports, music, karaoke. I don't think there are any places I wouldn't recommend.

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes...

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. As long as you can look to the sea you will have great sunset views wherever you are,my hotel patio was great for this.

    Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.
