A superb hotel well situated for the port and a short walk from the local restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable with views out to sea. The staff were brilliant - so helpful! We loved the breakfast with homemade produce - which you could also purchase. Such easy parking too. We do not understand just why the hotel has only two stars! We have stayed at many 3 stars that are not anywhere as good. A must if in Kymi!

Small scale hotel (I believe only 10 rooms). NIce room and superb view. Large balcony. Nice infinity pool. The hotel owner also has a beach area, about 3 km towards Limni, where you get free sunbeds and umbrellas. The nearby city Limni is nice, with plenty of restaurants. When you drive north to Loutra, you can also visit the thermal baths.

Evia (or Euboea) is the 2nd largest island of Greece and is connected with 2 bridges to the mainland. Ideal for summer and winter holidays, this unique destination features hot springs, lovely beaches, green mountains, traditional villages and a ski centre.

The location is special in an impressive natural setting; these noble people managed to create an atmosphere that rests your soul. Everything is luxury. Exceptional cleanliness. The apartments are equipped with everything you need, a kitchen with everything clean, a washing machine. I stayed in the apartment for two people and in the suite for 4 people. Everything is superlative. They are open to any concerns or dissatisfaction that they try to create a dream vacation for you. The employees at the reception, bar, waiter that I have met over time have a special respect for customers and are always benevolent, warm, welcoming, with a smile on their lips that you can't come back here. Year after year we return with love. I haven't met these quality services at this price, in such a natural setting and special people. This time, we arrived at the location very late from the airport, Panagiotis was waiting for us, he greeted us warmly like old friends, he offered us what we wanted to drink from the house, he told us about the area this special. Thank you I'm repeating myself but I have to emphasize because the people who created this place have put soul into every corner to crrate a little heaven for guests.     it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants...

    it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants town and its typical Greek city: dirty, loud, traffic out of control - every driver is doing what he wants. be careful when you cross the road by foot!! you have a very clean and calm shopping mall and a tourist area on the beach where is a lot of Restaurants. unfortunately, the later the evening, the louder the music. we were in Mostar meeting friends and you could not understand your own word. whats sense of so loud music in a Restaurant? around Chalkida there are a lot of wonderful, peaceful places. visit the beach areas or the Castle Cafe for a good cup! prices in most restaurants are very fair, but be careful not to be tricked: especially when you choose fish, ASK BEFORE what it will cost!

    We love Edipsou and visit it every year around the end of April. It is not so crowded then and the weather is usually just perfect for the springs and getting a bit of a tan. There are a few Mezopolios where you can taste the amazing dishes and get a glass of ouzo, unfortunately, they are usually open until 18,00 pm. Of course there are the usual restaurants that are open later. The hot springs also offer a relaxing getaway. If you have any aches or pains, it is the best spot to just relax. I highly recommend this location for a few days.

    Skyros is not overly commercialised which makes it a perfect destination. Lovely beaches, hospitality and tavernas. Molos beach is the best. Kalimistas beach is worth a visit. Asterias taverna is the best place to eat in Molos a d on the beach.

    Pension Posidonia is really beautiful - we had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, surrounded by a garden full of oleander and other flowers. The free sunbeds and umbrellas are on the doorstep, the beach is lovely, and the views are stunning. We swam all day and sunbathed then wandered a 5 minute walk to good seafood restaurants overlooking the sea. Shops are even closer, everywhere was very accessible. Our delightful host recommended Louis, one of the many restaurants, and was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful in every way. She speaks excellent English, and ordered us our taxi to the airport when we - reluctantly! - had to go home. Definitely 5 stars!

    It is a pleasant resort for a stay at the sea. The marina is a pleasant place to walk and visit. There are many terraces/restaurants/taverns for dining. The nearby Galida beach is very long, with calm, clear water, with few stones. There are parking lots right next to the beach, under the shade of the pine trees. There is a tavern on the beach. Winds are specific in the area, but despite all that, the sea has no waves, it is good for swimming. There are not many places to buy souvenirs in the city. We ate at the Cavo D'Oro tavern and Fingerfood, and we recommend.

    Chalkida is a unique city with a canal and an old bridge famous for its "crazy waters" meaning the high and low tide which you can actually see . It has beautiful cafés on the promenade in front of the canal fantastic shopping, lots of pedestrian streets for good quality shopping, great food. It is a great escape from Athens for a weekend or a couple of days at the entrance of Evia island. You can go to further destinations in Evia easily. I would highly recommend the city for a short stay. Bear in mind that it is difficult to get around by car but the parking spots are very affordable. I would recommend the seaside of Lefkanti 20 min away

    A village with a small port and a main street with a few gift shops and restaurants. Food not really great and not fresh. We tried calamary and it was super gummy. Nothing to do, beach is a muddy strip with tons of trash on it. Not much a of night life and only retired older people here.

    At least on the beaches we visited, none of them had sand on the shore, and there were large rocks in the water. Additionally, on some beaches, the sea had sea urchins. It's nice for taking a dip, but not ideal for swimming in the sea.

    The best part is that it is still local and peaceful and not over touristy because it does not have international airport and is not the closest from the islands to take a ferry to, so even in Summer months it is not too crowded other than maybe a couple of main streets during evening dinner time. In peak season you can still find beaches almost just for yourself and plenty of room even in the most popular easy access ones. Also, a very good thing that in the heat of the Summer it is one of those places in Greece that is remarkably cooler due to its location: if mainland is 35, it is only 30 etc. Now that the Summers are getting way too hot, it is a very positive thing. You can stay in a popular restaurant hearing just Greek and seeing just locals, so it feels authentic. It is also interestingly diverse, because the South is try and sunkissed, the North is lush, so you get many worlds in one place. There are secret gems like a beach with the shipwreck but even that you get just for yourself. If looking for beach life, just be aware of the wind direction as the waves get pretty big if you are on the "wrong side" and beach if the weather is windier. Google or ask the locals to go to a calmer bay then.
