Great place to stay in Olympia. We were a family of 6 and stayed in a spacious apartment with enough room for everyone. The location is quiet, all main attractions are within 10-15 min walk and so are tavernas and coffee shops. Please only bear in mind the hotel is on the hill so coming back from the town is a bit of a steep road.

It had all we asked for. Beachfront, a wonderful pool, very filling breakfast & home cooked food for lunch. We were all so relaxed, the staff were wonderful and so helpful in every way. I love this place, this hotel and its staff! Every time I come here from a big noisy city, full of stress and work, to recover in this paradise. Everything is provided for this: excellent comfortable rooms with a view of the beautiful sea, a sandy clean beach, always clear pure water without jellyfish and other sea troubles, comfortable and soft sun loungers and snow-white towels, wonderful blue pools, friendly and welcoming staff (professionals work here!) and healing magical nature: sand, pine trees, flowers, olive trees... This is a place where everything is thought out and nothing irritates. The room has everything: a coffee machine and a kettle, huge mirrors and a small mirror for applying cosmetics - exactly at the level you need, a large bathroom, a huge balcony, where it is so nice to relax in the shade on a hot afternoon. By the way, there are many families with children of all ages here, but you will not hear them on the beach: all the children frolic all day in the water park on the other side, so the beach itself is perfectly quiet. Separate, but very important, attention should be paid to the SPA complex - it is wonderful! In a couple of massage sessions, you will again become happy and balanced, your body will become light, as if you were no more than 17 years old. The best are lymph massage by Christina and classic massage with oils by Marcella - these are wonderful masters. I also definitely recommend you hydromassage in a pool with sea water with Zeta (Georgia). You will receive colossal fun, especially if you are together with a partner or a friends! Finally, I would like to write about the food: there are excellent cooks here! You will get everything you want: the most delicious dishes and huge selection - everything fresh and everything unusually delicious! You will eat heartily, but you will not gain weight, because there is a great balance of healthy and quality food. Overall, it's a magical place and I recommend it without any hesitation.

We were greeted by a wonderful and friendly elderly lady who showed us the property - it was an enormous studio with a kitchenette and a balcony. New and nicely furnished, it had everything we needed. For the given price it felt even a bit overwhelming :) The beach is easily reachable by foot, just 2-3 minutes away. It was nearly empty and had perfect sand and showers to rinse off. A lot of parking space.

The Villa was excellent with a unique view from the veranda and also the way to reach the private and beautiful private beach!!! Mrs Eftichia and Mr. Panos were excellent hostess , giving us vegetable from their garden!! Very clean and very comfortable villa!! We really enjoyed our stay and the quiet area!! For sure will go again and we fully recommended!!!

Great location, if you have a car, to get to Olympia.

Great location, if you have a car, to get to Olympia. Lovely town square with great selection of restaurants to eat at - mainly Italian themed as opposed to Greek. Beaches are not well advertised as to where to park near to them. Suggest 2 day stay - one day Olympia and one day beach.

We were on a "pilgrammage" of sorts intended to seek out our familial origins and were travelling by a rented vehicle from Eurocar which we picked up at the Athens Airport. This was a major winner for us! Take your GPS with you and enjoy the encredibly well organized motor ways that would best be described as excellent in every way. Kyllini was easy to find just off the West Coast and in good striking distance for other sites. It is a port city, really, with Ferry traffic to the Islands which could have made it noisy and unpleasant. However, such was not the case with super restaurant facilities and the Greek Pastries in the local shops were simply scrumptious. Have fun!

It’s a very remote town.

It’s a very remote town. A very long and tiring drive to get there, and not much to visit. The town is just average and all the restaurants were closed in April. Nice scenery and very nice people. It’ll probably be more appealing in summer when is hot down the mountains and all the restaurants and coffee shops are open.

Zacharo is really, really Greek and there seemed to be absolutely nothing happening. I figure you have three alternatives to fill your time: swim or stare at the sea during the day, sit at a cafe and gossip at night, or get through War & Peace.

Go when not so crowded or hot. We did well at end of September. I highly recommend if you have a car to do a free Olive Oil tour & tasting at OILYPIAN Koufolias Olive Oil Mill about 15 min away from town. I also loved OLYBEEA for family run local honey which you may sample before you buy! Have a meal up the hill (you can walk but best with car) at The Garden :) You will dine under olive trees & get a great view. Try to eat around sunset for a treat!

It is located close to the Temple of Apollo Epikourios which is well worth a visit. The village of Andritsaina itself has a neglected air about it despite its springs and friendly villagers as well as beautiful location. We walked everywhere and the food at Petrino, the taverna in which we ate was good.

Katakolon is the main port for cruise liners where guests are visiting Olympia and seems geared up largely for this purpose. It is quite a pleasant seaside town but nothing exceptional. When we were there there were no cruise ships in port and it was very quiet. All of the seafront restaurants and bars were open so we had our pick, but a lot of the shops were close for most of the time we were there. Olympia is about a 30 minute drive from here.
