I had a great experience at Hotel Europa Olympia! The views from the hotel are very nice, and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Everything :) I stayed in the "non-deluxe" sea view room and it was above my expectations. The lobby and renovated half of the hotel are absolutely a gem, with clean, efficient design and modern amenities that merge luxury and comfort. Breakfast is abundant, the cafe' is always open, the restaurant is a great value for more traditional Greek dishes, the pool was one of my favourite things on this entire trip through Greece, the bed is extremely comfortable, the AC is super quiet, and staff is kinda + helpful. The owner, Georgios, is there to greet you and is dedicated to make sure that everything is perfect at all times; genuine hospitality. Resort is located in a nice cove with both sand and rocks; you can walk around it and swim out to a little island. There are also castle ruins on the hill behind, which is an easy walk (that can be extended to the volcanic terrains and olive groves towards Katakolo). Ended up staying for 3 nights and it was the first time I enjoyed the hotel so much that I literally didn't leave its grounds. Can't wait to go back :)

I am partial to authentically vintage establishments, and Lintzi Hotel did NOT disappoint!: I especially liked the perfectly maintained original 60's vintage building and room fittings. I could not benefit of the beautiful and clean pool due to personal health reassons, but the garden is luxuriant and the parking very convenient The owners have a real gift for hospitality and go out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction I look forward to returning for further stays

Beautiful and extremely long beach with fine sand very close to the studio. Well maintained and clean place, all amenities available, bar open all day long. Several supermarkets only 2,5 km away in Zacharo. Strongly recommended.

Great location, if you have a car, to get to Olympia.

Great location, if you have a car, to get to Olympia. Lovely town square with great selection of restaurants to eat at - mainly Italian themed as opposed to Greek. Beaches are not well advertised as to where to park near to them. Suggest 2 day stay - one day Olympia and one day beach.

We were on a "pilgrammage" of sorts intended to seek out our familial origins and were travelling by a rented vehicle from Eurocar which we picked up at the Athens Airport. This was a major winner for us! Take your GPS with you and enjoy the encredibly well organized motor ways that would best be described as excellent in every way. Kyllini was easy to find just off the West Coast and in good striking distance for other sites. It is a port city, really, with Ferry traffic to the Islands which could have made it noisy and unpleasant. However, such was not the case with super restaurant facilities and the Greek Pastries in the local shops were simply scrumptious. Have fun!

It’s a very remote town.

It’s a very remote town. A very long and tiring drive to get there, and not much to visit. The town is just average and all the restaurants were closed in April. Nice scenery and very nice people. It’ll probably be more appealing in summer when is hot down the mountains and all the restaurants and coffee shops are open.

Zacharo is really, really Greek and there seemed to be absolutely nothing happening. I figure you have three alternatives to fill your time: swim or stare at the sea during the day, sit at a cafe and gossip at night, or get through War & Peace.

Go when not so crowded or hot. We did well at end of September. I highly recommend if you have a car to do a free Olive Oil tour & tasting at OILYPIAN Koufolias Olive Oil Mill about 15 min away from town. I also loved OLYBEEA for family run local honey which you may sample before you buy! Have a meal up the hill (you can walk but best with car) at The Garden :) You will dine under olive trees & get a great view. Try to eat around sunset for a treat!

The best is the cleanness...so professional and safe feeling to me! Of course the amazing antique building and beautiful decoration in the room is so nice to discover! The bed is just a wonder! The Good smell of the towel is so classic style!

It is located close to the Temple of Apollo Epikourios...

It is located close to the Temple of Apollo Epikourios which is well worth a visit. The village of Andritsaina itself has a neglected air about it despite its springs and friendly villagers as well as beautiful location. We walked everywhere and the food at Petrino, the taverna in which we ate was good.

Katakolon is the main port for cruise liners where guests are visiting Olympia and seems geared up largely for this purpose. It is quite a pleasant seaside town but nothing exceptional. When we were there there were no cruise ships in port and it was very quiet. All of the seafront restaurants and bars were open so we had our pick, but a lot of the shops were close for most of the time we were there. Olympia is about a 30 minute drive from here.
