Our room had a sea view with a view to the island of telendos. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were decorated beautifully. The WIFI was working perfectly. I would definitely come here again. GreeceThe hotel we stayed was the best in Telendos, with a swimming pool overlooking the sea, the studio offered panoramic sea view and Kalymnos view which is the island opposite Telndos. It also offered breakfast in the price of booking. Both landlord and landlady were very friendly and helpful . In fact, the hotel owner and manager offered to come to the small port of Telendos and pick us up from there to the hotel, because we hahad lots of luggage and two dogs. I have to mention that it’s rather difficult to find pet friendly hotels in such small islands.

I have had the best stay. I booked last minute because I was very unhappy with my last accommodation and the location and wanted to be closer to the port with more options. I would recommend checking out their website before booking. George got me an amazing price for a Delux room. I emailed them and they emailed me back immediately. They organised a taxi for me with their cousin Nektarious who is the BEST taxi man I ever had. I was so sad in Emporios and he brought me on a beautiful, scenic drive to my hotel and played my favourite music along the way :) On arrival, I was greeted by the best hotel owner I have ever met. George is absolutely amazing. I was very down and sad about wasting money on another location. He gave me a gin and orange juice (refused payment), a bag of ice for a nice cold bath (it's hot here) candles and a lighter for the bathroom (don't use these in the rooms, too much wood and could cause a fire!) And I relaxed. I was feeling much happier. During my stay he gave me food, drinks and anything I wanted. All with the famous Greek hospitality. The breakfast is the best I've ever seen. George believes in less options but FRESH, homemade desserts, good quality food. This said, there were lots of options! Cinnamon swirls, banana bread, chocolate bread, Greek pastries, apple pie, Nutella buns, bread, cereals, ham, cheese, Greek yoghurt, watermelon etc etc too much to name.... George's family are FABULOUS. I love his father! If he is eating and you walk past, he will try to give you whatever he is eating! I got wonderful fresh watermelon and a slice of pizza another day! He is so friendly and funny.
The room is so beautiful and authentic. The hotel is amazing. Traditional, authentic, it's heaven. It was perfectly clean. My room is fabulous. It has beautiful old wallpaper and furniture with long draping curtains overlooking the city and port. It still had that quirky feel about it, like I was staying in a different time... Vintage.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful holiday retreat, and we can’t recommend it enough!
From the moment we arrived, our hosts made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality.
They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and making us feel right at home.
The rooms were beautifully clean, and comfortable and the shower was better than expected.

Very nice place, hosts are very kind and they are always ready to help you. Lovely place with great view from the balcony.
( The Google map show the wrong place, but if you put Avras Kalymnos to map- then it is a correct place.)
The apartapents situated near the main road where you can easily find shops, restaurants and bars.

Great people and great location. The veranda was excellent although we had the smallest room, thanks to the terrace in front it felt very spacious. At last beds and pillows are really comfortable which are really imp when you are on a climbing holiday:))

Lovely chilled and laid back island. Great activities, we were there for a family holiday but the amazing climbing was pretty central and the diving (Kalymnos Diving Club) was great too. Beaches not busy and plenty of then (if small) all around the island. Very good value and food always of a good standard. We rented a car, the island is easy to get around and nowhere is very far

Great view and location. Breakfast good and pool snack bar excellent. Their Caesars Salad was outstanding. Room bathroom had the door basically hung on the wrong side. Anyone overweight would struggle to get in. Hotel has no restaurant or bar. Nowhere to get a coffee when the pool bar closed at 6PM. No kettle in room either. Staff were great.

The relatively quiet and friendly location with lovely views, very Greek island with narrow roads and very friendly people. The exception being at certain times of the day motor scooters are buzzing through the narrow roads but this was not a problem for us.

Panormos is much quieter than Myrties and it has a big supermarket and a fuel station. But you need some sort of wheels to get to places as buses aren’t as frequent. We had a scooter and that worked for us well. As climbers we travelled everyday to different walls. Panormos offered the cheapest accommodation with facilities.

Kalymos main town is very big busy if you like it busy it’s ideal. There’s lots of burners and bars. It’s easy to catch fairies from the port and I recommend hiring a car to go around the island. We like the north tip of the island best.

Small, friendly, has everything you need: lovely beach, wonderful views, great shops and restaurants. The people are very friendly and helpful. You can hire a boat, take a ferry to Telendos where you can go for a walk, watch a sunset and go for a great meal.

i ll write some comments for the whole island not only myrties. myrties is the main tourist spot on the island. lots of restaurants (we ate twice at la kambusa italian restaurant and the food was really good. try the pasta-excellent). there is a small harbor and within 3 minutes a boat can take you to island telendos (really cheap 3 euros going-2 coming back). we fell in love with emporeios village at the northern part of the island. quite beaches only you and ... goats from local farmers, nice restaurants (ate both at kyma & dreamcatcher). paid no more than 20euros per person. other beaches we enjoyed was platys gyalos semi organised but cheap for beverages-coffee. dont miss the daily trip to pserimos, fantastic beach plus every 3 hours or so tourist ships/pirate ships arrive with loads of tourists. for a while. then again .... peace. visit kalymnos you ll be amazed. explore greece beyond the obvious.

Panormos is a good place to stay when you visit Kalymnos island because of its location (close to the port, Kalymnos capital, museums, sightseeing and to beaches and restaurants on the other hand). The problem with all of the island is that there are nowhere sidewalks and streets are so narrow that if two cars meet one of them should back off , because there is not enough space for both of them (!!!!) and pedestrians are in a real danger .

Emporios is great if you like beautiful and quiet places.
Emporios is great if you like beautiful and quiet places. It is literally at the end of the road in Kalymnos so very little car or scooter traffic. Lots of restaurants to choose from, a mini mart, a small farm for fresh ingredients and a beautiful beach.
