The breakfasts were great and the property is located right next to a river and the most beautiful beach. The staff are always willing to help and are always there when you need them. It is very close to the city centre, about 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk.

The apartment was very clean and equipped with more than what is needed for a pleasant stay. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Nice location with grocery shop, lots of restaurants and Caffès in walking distance. Very close to the beach of Myrtos too!

Everything, location, room, breakfast, very attentive family staff. You feel very welcome from the very nice owners. I had luck and was not very crowded at the beginning from my stay. That small village is perfect for disconnect and relax without any stress and also if you have bad weather (unfortunately in my case) Very good value for money and the breakfast is excellent!

The location is good - not in the touristy part of the island. There are a few hotels around, but the nearby town feels very authentic. There are very nice, simple, restaurants there. Walking and the town and eating with the locals just feels real here. You don't feel like a tourist. The way down to the beach is very beautiful. We enjoyed spending the 5 minutes to get to and from the beach. But be warned - it's some pretty steep and winding stairs, so not good for baby strollers or people with disabilities. Otherwise it is not hard, and a very picturesque walk. The beach is very natural and minimalistic, but we liked it very much because of that. No sunbeds, no bars. Just go down there, sit on the warm sand, swim in the beautiful sea, climb on the rocks - enjoy the nature. We visited early in the season, so there were very few people too. Most of the time we had the whole beach to ourselves! Everyone in the staff is very friendly. We stayed only a few nights but can remember all those friendly faces. It feels like you are a real guest there, not just another client to be served. Even the construction workers seemed nice (there was a bit of renovation happening). The owners are personally there, involved in the business. Had a chance to chat with the a little too. Interesting people. Good, real, down-to-earth business. We liked it. Breakfast and dinner are good. The selection is not overwhelming (the kitchen area is not very big), which I see as a big positive, but some people maybe might think it is too little. There are enough different dishes to keep it interesting and at the same time, if you plan it right, you can try almost every dish for each meal. And everything was good, without exception. Oh and the views from the room - the mountains or the sea, really can't go wrong either way, it's beautiful wherever you look. So overall, very positive experience. Recommend, would stay again.

Beautiful hotel and spacious rooms. Great bars and restaurants and the staff were exceptional. It had great views and was a pleasant 15 minute walk to the bars and restaurants of Agios Nicholis. Michalis who works at the Pool Bar was so friendly and helpful, he made us so welcome.

Our stay exceeded our expections by far! Comunication with the hotel was very easy and comfortable over the booking chat option and they really tried their very best to help with all our questions! Then the hotel/grounds/garden and the beach were very beautiful and very well kept. We couldn't get enough of the views! Even tough we had a garden view room we had an amaizing view of the mountains, the garden AND the sea which we enjoyed immenesly! One of the best things though was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff!! Everyone was so nice and courteous, we felt like VIPs all stay long! Special compliments to Giannis and Ioanna from the reception, they were the sweetest people we have met in a long time! We really enjoyed our conversations and they made our stay extra special! We also grew fond of Vivi from the beach bar, she was always enthusiastic and sunny and made the best cocktails! The entertainment all day was excellent as well! There were many options you could choose from and we enjoyed participating. :) All in all we can really recommend staying at Meli Palace to relax! We loved the Food/Snacks/drinks in the All-inclusive package and already miss it!

We had the pleasure of staying at Minos Beach Art Hotel for a relaxing weekend, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into paradise. The hotel itself is beautifully spread across a large area, offering various accommodation options. Based on the glowing reviews, we opted for a bungalow right on the water, and it was the best decision we made. The bungalow was recently renovated, featuring elegant, modern decor and all the comforts we could ask for. The veranda right by the water provided breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere – truly a dream spot to unwind and connect with nature. Walking around the hotel, we enjoyed exploring the lush flora and the impressive art installations that added a unique cultural touch to the entire experience. We also had the pleasure of dining at La Bouillabaisse Restaurant during one of their special Invited Chefs & Friends event. The food was beyond incredible – every dish was a masterpiece, and the service was impeccable. A perfect 10/10 in every way. Thank you to the wonderful team at Minos Beach Art Hotel and the General Manager for his special attention. We can't wait to return!

Where do I start - we truly enjoyed our holidays at Enorme Santanna Beach Hotel. The facilities and rooms have very nice, clean design. From the hotel there is a nice view to the city and mountains. Hotel is located next to the beach which is fully equipped beach with comfortable sunbeds and beach bar. The beach is rocky - black rock and sand beach, but I really liked the character of the beach. Although the sea bottom itself is rocky, still it is possible to comfortably enter it and swim. Food was excellent - fresh and delicious, I especially enjoyed breakfast and dinner, it’s wide variety of different cusines and desserts were outstanding. The staff is friendly, kind and always ready to help you, so for the hotel staff itself I give 10/10. You are great and doing a great job there! As this was the first part of our trip and we did not want to do anything much just sunbathe on the beach and relax, we found this a perfect choice.

I could not speak highly enough of Paul and his team at Elounda Park & Resort. Professional, Courteous, Polite, Kind, gentle to mention a few. As a group we were all upgraded to the villas and these were cleaned DAILY as well as the pool. We had a fabulous time on holiday and there is no doubt about it. The views were breathtaking, relaxing and peaceful. There was so much to do both at the villa, the resort and the town. For animal lovers they also have a resident dinning cap. We got free pic up and drop off services to the villa which made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you once again for a lovely time and we haven’t been able to stop telling everyone about our trip.

The hotel was refurbished and it had everything renovated: from the locker of the room to the glass fence on the balcony. Looks to be a family business as we were welcomed by a very nice young family. They were very kind to us and our son as they anticipate our needs. They showed us how to better use the amenities and what to explore in the area. As the hotel was not full, they did us an upgrade of the room: same space but a refurbished one. The location is perfect, very close to the center and the seaside. There is private parking on the street that you can access using a pin code.

The perfect place for peaceful vacation.

The perfect place for peaceful vacation. The city itself is nice but not something extraordinary, but you get the best food in Greece alongside the best beaches in the World! Try Psarropoula, Kakkos and all other beaches in Ferma area. Make beautiful trips to Chryssi Island or Agios Nikolaos (30min), Siteia (45min), Vai, Oropedio Lasithiou etc.

Elounda was ideal for us as it is fairly small and so no great hussle and bussle. Lots of places to eat. We visited Spinalonga one day - taking boat from Elounda and the second day we visited Plaka. Tiny village with a great atmosphere.

Tiny village with a great atmosphere. We attended to a traditional event, with cretese music and dances, and in the area you can find very interesting historical sites. The beaches are very close and nice (the coast is facing east, so there are no waves in case the strong wind is blowing). Our favourite beaches have been Kouremenos for windsurfing and Itanos/Paralia for swimming. The best restaurants we tried are Mythos in the village centre and Elia in the close village of Agathias that you can reach on foot in ten minutes. Pharmacy, restaurants, shops, markets. Here you can find all you need for a perfect stay!

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete.

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete. In the south-east this small village with harbor and several taverns direct on the sea, which serve excellent food at a reasonable price has no overtourism until now. At the beautiful 3 km sandy beach, many very nice private App direct on the beach or above the harbor in the old town offer perfect locations to stay. Only at the end of the sandy beach away from the rest of accommodations a hotel complex offers an all inclusive stay.

Big sandy beaches. Good tavernas, we liked MeRaki. Istron is a "strip" of a village running along a main road. There are apartments and hotels up the hillside from the road, with not too much road noise. When rough you can hear the sea from your apartment. Apart from the beaches and eating places there is probably not too much else to do.

We loved Agios Nicolaos.

We loved Agios Nicolaos. It’s a bustling port town but still small enough around the port area to be lovely. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We did a boat trip to Spinalonga, which was excellent. We also took a cab to visit Plaka and Elounda and another to Kritsa the following day.

A lovely beachside town full of real Greek people, culture, restaurants etc. Perfect sea for swimming. No overrun with tourists. Sitia Beach Resort and Sitia Bay Hotel Apartments both wonderful places to stay.
