The bathroom is huge and includes a bathtub. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the owner is very welcoming and friendly! It’s easy to drive from Kato to Messaio to Ano Trikal and surrounding areas by car. Messaio has more restaurants. But Kato has a nice plateia, circular hike trails, and a few restaurants and cafes as well! This is the Greek Alps. A spectacular area worth taking the time to explore, which I will do on another occasion. I generally follow the costal route while traveling by ferry from Italy to Greece, I had time this trip and I was so pleased to discover this area, this aspect of Greece.
