Everything was exceptional. The resort is right on the promenade and less than a ten minute walk to Zlatni Rat beach and a ten minute walk in the opposite direction to Bol. We used both pools and both were lovely. The food was excellent and we never had to eat out - there was something for everyone. We had a medical emergency towards the end of the trip and the hotel staff could not have helped more. Thank you 🙏🏻

Really nice place to stay. Is walking distance to a great beach. The staff was extremely friendly, breakfast was included in the rate and it was good. Excellent location on seaside, marvellous sea view from suite, nice outdoor pools with many sun-beds, nice though small wellness area, many sports possibilities, some are with animators, trainer, very kind and helpful staff, all food and beverage are on self-service, variety and quality of food are top notch 4* hotel. All of our special requests have been fulfilled quickly and well done. Stylish and cosy 'Komin' outdoor restaurant on the slope of the hill for a unique mediterranean roast dinner with outstanding service. Bike rental just next to the hotel. Beaches are in few minutes walk. We loved the place and hospitality of Bretanide Hotel, we enjoyed the spacious superior suite with a large terrace supplied with sunbeds and parasol. Liked the cats walked around in hotel gardens area :)

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at an incredible villa a couple blocks from water and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful, quaint, and relaxing environments we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings and the charm of the location—it felt like a true escape from the everyday. A true hidden gem that I almost didn't want to write a review about so I can keep it to my self! Favorite pizza was at Hotel Lipa and our favorite meal was at Dvor. You don't need a car here, super easy to walk, hike, bike or taxi around.

Sutivan is a small town on the island of Brac, which, unlike other more busy places, offers many more opportunities to relax, enjoy long walks, and watch the sunset. Traffic and loud music are "banned" in the core areas along the beach promenade and the old town, which allows for a serene, peaceful vacation.

We were happy that Povlja has a variety of beaches: city, bay, peninsula-top, secluded bay. We discovered real interesting things locally: the famous early Christian basilica, the viewpoint overlooking the entire bay, an abandoned war bunker on a nearby beach, the somersaults and head-jumps of local youth in the harbor in the evenings. There are also several restaurants and ice cream parlors. We ate excellent pizza and squid with tartar sauce.

Selca is located in the eastern part of the island of Brač,...

Selca is located in the eastern part of the island of Brač, in the interior of the island, about 1 km from the sea at an altitude of 114 m. On the coast are the tourist zones Puntinak and Ružmarin located around the beautiful beaches of Radonja, Spilice and Žirje, which offer a wide selection of quality private accommodation in apartments and holiday homes. Selca is first mentioned in 1184 as a shepherd's settlement and later as a stonemasonry center on the island of Brač. The symbol of Selca is stone, which enabled the development of the stone industry, from which beautiful houses, churches and castles surrounded by beautiful parks. A particularly suggestive location is Glavica, where the old Croatian church of St. Nicholas of XI. century with a dome, above an abandoned old quarry. Selca and Sumartin are also known for their home-cooked food (lamb, cheese, wine, honey) and the rich offer of beautiful restaurants, which remain in the memories not only due to the appearance but also the rich domestic and international gastronomic offer. In Selca you will find all the conditions for a quiet holiday, pleasant swimming on the nearby beaches and in numerous bays, quality hospitality offer, while entertainment lovers have everything within reach in Bol, 20 km away.

It's definitely not a party town, it is a peaceful village.

It's definitely not a party town, it is a peaceful village. The most entertainment was drinking cocktails at The Port bar and watching the yachts coming into the marina. There are no tourists shops (or any shops apart from the butcher and the supermarkets - which was fine with me but could be a negative for others who like to stroll and shop. Easy bus ride to Supetar to cure that need. The bus services in and out are easy - Supetar to Pucisca and then from there to Bol although it required a phone call from one driver to the other to wait at Gornje Humac to meet us. Easy.
