Loved Split , we spent a week on the islands and finished with 3 days in Split before coming home. Loved walking the old town, be prepared for map reading and the maze of alleyways and quaint streets filled with restaurants and lovely individual shops. Spend an evening in the old palace square having a drink and listening to the musicians. Spent one day on a trip to Krka national park with the beautiful waterfalls and wine tasting in a local village trip. Worth a visit. Loved our trip to SplitGuest review byVivienneUnited Kingdom - 8.0

My girlfriend and I were in Dubrovnik in September for two days. The Old Town (where we stayed) is very beautiful and well preserved. It was super crowded as two cruise ships were in both days so if you like crowds, this may not be the place to visit. Dubrovnik shows better at night when the crowds disappear and the pace slows. A highlight of our visit was dinner at Marco Polo as well as a visit to the beach nearest to the Cave Bar More.Guest review byKevinUnited States - 10.0

Zadar has so much to offer — from narrow, charming streets full of cafés and restaurants serving delicious food and good music (like Rock Caffe), to interesting interiors, lovely beaches, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and parks. There’s also a wide range of organized boat trips to national parks, public transportation (though often delayed), and ferry connections to Ugljan Island and beyond.Guest review byIwonaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Makarska is the capital of Makarska Riviera and has all required infrastructure with well-equipped beaches, rest areas, shops, transport connections and entertainment venues. Unfortunately, when we needed medical help and X-Ray inspection after getting trauma, we had to go to Split (State Hospital).Guest review byTimmerman - 10.0
This was the perfect Adriatic vacation.
This was the perfect Adriatic vacation. Best mix of historical sites, sea-side exursions, excellent restaurants, and time to relax as well. Be prepared to walk a lot and have proper footware for walking on the rocky beaches.Guest review byHNildiHungary - 10.0
Sibenik old town was worth the trip.
Sibenik old town was worth the trip. The old medieval buildings and narrow streets which look like polished from centuries walking over it. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants invite you to come in and have a rest.Guest review byKarinAustralia - 10.0
What a lovely place!
What a lovely place! Sitting on the promenade by the water and watching the boats go in and out was a holiday all on its own. Excellent places to eat and friendly staff at them. The Shell Museum was fascinating. The lady in charge told us about it and it is clear that she is a heroine who has devoted all her time to making sure it will succeed. I hope she gets a lot of support from local councillors and businesses. Saint Nicolas Church was beautiful and the four paintings around the altar were obviously by a highly-skilled painter. I wished there had been postcards of them to send to my family! The Racic Mausoleum was amazing and gave a beautiful view of the town. The only problem for some people would be the gradients: it is fun for young fit people to climb 50+ stairs to their destination, but not for us old people.Guest review byHilaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland
