This guest house is conveniently located, just a short walk from the Gate 1 Entrance. We had Room IV, and it was a very nicely furnished modern and comfortable bedroom with a refrigerator. The mattress was nice and firm, the towels and sheets were good quality. We had a large bathroom, with plenty of hot water in the strong shower. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. There’s a pleasant communal sitting outside area and someone always came out to this shared patio to see if they could serve us something. The food in the compact dining room was delicious, My husband and I ate there both nights of our stay. On the first night I ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was so good we both ordered it on the 2nd night. We also enjoyed a tasty tomato soup, mushroom soup, and the veal stew. Breakfast was served in the adjoining building and was very complete: fruit, vegs, bread, ham, cheese, eggs, French toast, cereal, yogurt, etc. One night we walked out of the dining room smelling like fried fish, and although our neighbors fish looked delicious, the smell was overpowering. Luckily it did not rise to our room, which was directly over the dining room.

We had enjoyed our stay very much. Very helpful and friendly staff. Everything was great, love the spacious rooms and the bathroom. And the location was good, very close to Entrance 1 of the Plitvice Lakes, only 9km away. Dinner and breakfast was great too, plenty of selection.

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. Check-in was easy and our attic apartment was great. Bedrooms are large and the beds were very comfortable. The property has a nice setting with sheep and other animals roaming the grass. We enjoyed the fresh selection at breakfast each morning. The hostess also provided a fantastic itinerary for the National Park as to not get stuck being the tourist bus crowds; we were extremely grateful! Everything was wonderful!
