We spent three nights over there with my new wife. The room is really nice with an amazing open view on the rice field. The team was very helpful to organize trip nearby, with a full set of possible activities to do, including the visit of waterfalls, hikes and canoeing on the nearby lake etc. On top of the amazing place, the piscine is really nice and relaxing.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable, with a spotless and well-maintained bathroom. The breakfast was a highlight—highly recommend trying the noodles, pancakes, and, of course, the coffee! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect for exploring North Bali, and one of the best parts is that you can walk to the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfalls. A special thank you to Agus, the hotel’s driver, who made our trip even smoother with reliable transfers. He speaks English well, drives safely, and offers fair prices—highly recommended! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our 7 nights here. The room is traditional The views of the sunrise over the valley is breathtaking. The room was comfy with fridge and aircon. The location is remote but we either walked the very steep hill to the village (20min) or to the river/waterfall past the rice fields up the mountain (20 min) or caught a taxi organised by our hosts at a fair price. We were spoilt each morning with a delicious vegan Bali breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a lovely resort at North Bali. It is very quiet. Naturally decorated villas with outdoor bathrooms are located in a lush garden surrounded with palm trees, meadows and natural pools. The restaurant serves good food, and the service is very friendly and fast. There is billiard, table tennis, spa and dive center. The sea is here with a beach, corals and beautiful sunrise if one wakes up early. If the sea nearby is not enough there are Menjangan island trips for coral gardens and more. We have been there first time in 2006, and the place did not change much since then. Owners manage to keep the balinese spirit and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you, we will get back again!

I loved this cosy 8 villa hotel on a quiet peaceful beach. It is the kind of place that forces you to relax. The staff and I mean every single one of them smile and greet you. EKA was exceptional. The villa was clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor sitting area. The open air bathroom was HUGE and super clean. It has a restaurant which gives on to the beach. It also has a nice pool. I would give it a 10+ if I could.

Scooter for rent in the hotel, 10 minutes to go downside, perfect place to relax and be near everything (waterfalls, center, Lovina beach). If you want to visit north of Bali, stay here ! 😊

I don't normally need a tv in the room, but this was very good to have when the rain set in hard and going out was not an option. HBO films saved the afternoon. will book again.

The whole experience was amazing! Dinner was exquisite.

The whole experience was amazing! Dinner was exquisite. Breakfast was sublime. Towels and sheets smelled like the frangipani!! So nice. Pool was gorgeous. One thing that might make the stay so much better is if all the hotels, villas and restaurants could make a group to continually monitor and clean up the rubbish on the beach. It's so nice of a place but the rubbish is a bit much!

Perfect place if you want to explore a more natural, authentic and less touristy Bali. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and there are so many villages with different things to do. Would definitely recommend munduk’s waterfall walk and Eco Cafe 2! Worth a visit for at least 3 days if you’re into outdoor activities

The area he’s like Bali 40 years ago. You are better off staying at a resort on the northern end of the beach, they are beautiful clean and with excellent food and staff, and away from the mosque. Eco Taste, Dimpil Beach Bar, Wrung Rama, The Sage excellent places to eat with cheap healthy fresh food. The Taman, Sari resort & Amertha Resort also have excellent food but more expensive.

Nice relaxed rural/coastal Bali, great place to just wind it back and take time to slow down. Snorkeling, temple tours both great, hot springs are truely hot and well worth the visit (anytime of day or night), but I’ll mostly remember the friendly approachable people in the neighbourhood. Lovely people (great food)

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali...

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas...

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas of the south beaches. There are great Warungs, bars and markets for shopping. We saw waterfalls, temples, hot springs and a family run salt farm. Quiet walks along the black sand beach and making friends with the locals are some of the reasons why we will come back to Tejakula.

It is great to stay in the north of Bali!

It is great to stay in the north of Bali! Getting around takes time and requires a private driver. Management & Staff was just Wonderful and made all our wishes come true. Very responsive via What's app - all day long. Great location on the mountain, fantastic view. Private infinity pool! The place to feel into the magic of Bali!

Love Lovina, chilled and lots to see around area....waterfalls spectacular. As much as I would like to promote Dolphin swimming for local employment, once I was out there I realised it was wrong decision. I'm a marine lover and I don't think the dolphins were too happy chasing them. I decided to get back in the boat and go back.

Our stay at Manduk modern plantation was amazing.

Our stay at Manduk modern plantation was amazing. The most welcoming and friendliest staff I’ve ever had. Making you feel right at home! The property is so beautiful and the views from the restaurants and the room was incredible :) Great sized rooms and very private. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a break from the coast :)

It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts...

It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts of Bali. The downside is it takes 4 hours due to traffic leaving the south and slow moving traffic heading up into the mountains due to winding, narrow roads.
