We had an amazing one-night getaway in Ubud at this beautiful resort. The view from the bath to the valley was breathtaking, and the welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The breakfast was incredible, and we even enjoyed live Balinese music during the meal, which was a lovely touch.

It was the best place we stayed while in Bali! The staff was so helpful and friendly, and the facilities was so great. The pool was fantastic and so instagrammable, the room super clean and the food amazing. Apart from the breakfast which was delicious, we ordered dinner a few times and it was just as great. The cocktails were simple, but their non alcoholic options were quite fancy! Lastly, one day we ordered the floating breakfast and it was the highlight of our stay! Next time we visit Bali, we'll definitely stay here again!

Would I come back again? Yes! 1. the breakfast are so good! I wished I had stayed for 1 more night so we could have tried more of the menu. We didn't have our meals at the restaurant other than our cooking class which the hotel helped to arrange. 2. the room is clean and relatively free of mosquitoes and other bugs. I am a mosquito magnet so I am very grateful for this. They did provide an electric mosquito repellent in the room but we didn't use as I brought along my essential oil diffuse (citronella!) for this very purpose. 3. The beds and pillows are comfortable. 4. Location is great! Near to the Sacred Monkey Forest, shops, minimarts, and restaurants. Of the lot, I love a) L'Osteria Pizza e Cucina Ubud (no local food but it's good food and service!) and b) Bebek Bengil Ubud. Lots of spas/ massages places around too, great for after all the walking. 5. The staff. The staff are excellent and friendly.

Padma Resort Ubud is, simply put, the best resort I have ever been to. The hotel grounds are huge and located in a lush jungle river valley. Common areas include (among others) an amazing pool with a sunken pool bar, a bamboo nest used for yoga classes and private dinners, a well-equipped gym, two very nice restaurants, a cocktail lounge bar, an incredibly atmospheric spa, a very nicely arranged garden with an animal farm, archery and golfing facitilies and a trully unique track going around the hotel and into the jungle itself. All of these places have been designed very carefully to provide both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Views are breathtaking wherever you go. The array of activities provided is simply impressive. The hotel has something for everyone. The rooms are very elegant, spacious and comfy. The cleanliness was impeccable. The food everywhere in the hotel was really good. The cocktails were masterfully crafted and the wine list was good as well. All these however, were relatively insignificant compared to the true highlight, which was the amazing staff. All of the people we met there were beyond kind, extremely helpful, always with a smile, they went the extra mile to provide us with the best experience possible and their demeanour was what made our day, every day. We would like to thank them all for these days. We were genuinely sad to leave and we hope to return some day, even though we live half the world away. To sum up, if you are looking for the perfect place to relax in the beautiful island of Bali, and you have a little extra holiday money to spare, look no further. Padma Ubud will probably be the best place you have ever been.

We were 4 days at the The Kayon Resort. It was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. They made us feel so special. During our stay we booked the "Day of healing". It was a new and cool experience. Thanks to our healer and Yoga teacher Ketut and the girls from the Serayu Spa Mira and Odra. Every night they have an entertainment program (live music, Bali dancing show etc). The singer Felix (BimBim) has a voice like John Legend - unbelievable. There is a free shuttle to Ubud (10min) every 2 hours and free bikes to rent (for a ride to the next village) - very convenient. The housekeeping team from Susila (Manager) did a great job twice or sometimes 3 times per day - excellent. The whole staff from the restaurant and the reception was incredible, everyone knows our names, they fulfilled every wish. And the food was delicious in the restaurant. We can highly recommend this resort. Thanks to the Kayon Family (Mang Ayu, Srinti, Dede, Gede, Doni, Gungde, Agung etc etc) Alex & Edytka

The room was BEAUTIFUL. The aesthetics were absolutely lovely. You can't draw the curtains on the transparent windows near the roof which I LOVED. You have no choice but to wake up to the beautiful place when the sun is up and high. And you're wide awake naturally which is wonderful. The food was excellent. Absoulte yum. Apparently the chef is rated #3 in Ubud. I don't believe how two different chefs cook better than him/ her!
