Lovely staff, beautiful garden, stylish interior, nice pools and outside area. Good food, scooter rental, early check in! This stay was perfect for our surfing holiday to Medewi. The best surf spot is easily reachable with scooter, and the traffic is not to heavy.

This is our second time staying in Umadewi. Our 1st visit was in August 2019. The property is well kept. The surroundings are calm and beautiful. We had the ocean view room with an amazing view of the surfers and sunset too. One of the reasons we chose to return is because of their restaurant. You can order anything and everything is delicious from drinks to dessert. Now they have all-day breakfast from 7am to 5pm, which is great! The entire staff team is really good. Very warm hospitality. We are happy that now they have a Spa too.

Everything ….. the location, the room, the service .. everything was so perfect. Our one year old was sick and the people at the hotel were the best : they helped us to reach a doctor, they dropped us the the clinic and then hospital, they were there to clean whenever , they made our stay so memorable and were always positive. Let’s not forget that the place is just top location - right in front of the surf spot, the rooms were so nice and big, and everything was chill and laid back but with a touch of modernity . The food was great and the staff were the best. Thank you so much Bombora , you make this place magical and we will come back !

Spacious room, new AC, curtains block the sunlight very well, clean, no bad odour. The owner is an absolutely amazing lady, she loves to take best care of her guests, happy to help with whatever you needs are. We even got a complimentary welcome drink, a big bottle of drinking water, fruit and completely unexpected breakfast to the room! We enjoyed our stay a lot and even extended it.

Well it was cheap. I paid $14 on booking.com, then the caretaker made me pay $20 in cash to him as he said I couldn't pay on booking.com he didn't speak English. But there was no where else to stay.

family owned business, the owners are the nicest people, they helped us organize the trip and even picked us up from the ferry for free. they also drove us to north bali cause we didn’t know how to get there. the food is home cooked by them and is very tasty. the room is very clean and quiet.

Did book room for 170 000, cos of aircon, no aircon working, so.wanted refund, did get just 70 000, room was 70 000, so should be 90 000, room was disgusting, especially bathroom, so dirty, I just left place in night and found better, cannot believe somebody leave good review here, probably fake, stay away from this place

I enjoyed the silence at night very much, which allowed me to have a good night sleep in the comfy bed. But apart from that, this hotel didn’t fulfill my expectations. There was no drinking water, and at the reception they didn’t sell any. Because the entrance path was under water, I walked along the road at night with lots of trucks passing very closely to buy some water. So better come with enough drinking water. The shower didn’t work properly, the shampoo dispenser was empty, the bum shower had low pressure so I used my own tissues. This hotel hasn’t been maintained, but I was thankful that I could spend the night there as my ferry from Java arrived when night was falling. For a single night I definitely recommend that place instead of traveling further at night.

Kepala Resort is very peaceful and quiet. It is hidden on the west coast of Bali and is absolutely a stunning destination. The beach was spotless, and the resort looked after small details; for example, different flowers were used to decorate the common pavement towards the restaurant; my rooms were cleaned twice daily. There was an element of surprise and class. I loved the spa - the hot stone massage is to die for. I highly recommend it. The staff were delightful. They were so friendly and attentive. Kelapa management, please keep them happy. They are your most significant assets!

Very beautiful well maintained resort. Staff is very friendly and relaxed. The eco concept is very good, no plastic to be seen and all is constructed with beautiful durable natural materials. The food quality is also very high, hygiene and cleanliness are clearly a top priority as well as customer wellbeing. All the pricing for food, drinks, spa and extras is very reasonable. We had a great stay and would definitely want to come back one day!

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed...

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed around Kuta 42 years ago. Rice paddies, beach, mountains…back to nature. It’s a peaceful part of Bali and we hope it stays that way as long as possible. We only stayed one night but would love to come back with family. Some of the sights around Bali are easier to access from here. Definitely recommend Puri Dajuma Eco Resort to explore this part of Bali and some of the rest of it.

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ? surfer kooks in the morning in surf. Locals/expats are great, great little community you can wrap your head around as a Lombok expat. Less choices is sometimes better, easy to get info and shared knowledge. Gilmanuk road is not for the beginners...nor is the big surf.
