The people running this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was large and perfectly clean. We wanted for nothing and would have stayed longer if our trip allowed. Excellent location. Very central, few minutes walk to the beach, pubs, some shops, great deli opposite making fresh sandwiches. We had a top room, family size... it was huge with king bed and two singles, view to the beach, ensuite bathroom was clean and large, sitting area to play games or read - a great room. It exceeded our expectations. Restaurant and bar were downstairs. Served delicious seafood - small sharing plates. Make sure to book a table as it was very popular.

It was my first experience in a tent. the truth is that I was a little afraid because of the cold, being a very sensitive person with health problems. But I decided to live this experience for the sake of my husband, to surprise him on his birthday. I was pleasantly impressed from the moment I arrived there. The staff is very friendly, everything is very clean and if you go with your hands in your pockets, as we did, you will find everything you need there, just like at home. Not to mention how impressed I was when I saw the tent, it's exactly like in the pictures, more beautiful and more comfortable than a hotel room. There would be too much to say and I limit myself to recommending this place from the bottom of my heart! I am grateful for this unforgettable experience!

Such a great little town where you can get the true essence of the Irish culture with really authentic pubs playing live music every night. I'd reccoment both Gus O'Connors Pub and McDermotts, food and pints were great. The town offers free shuttle buses to the cliffs of Moher and then we did a beautiful cliffside walk back into the town. I couldn't reccommend it enough. We stayed for 3 nights and this was plenty.

Ennis is a really nice town to visit. There's a nice atmosphere to the place. Even though the whole of the centre was being dug up for improvements it was still really interesting to walk around. The bars were great. Good music and never closed if you were still drinking, it seemed.

A great little village with several places to eat and drink and the beautiful Bunratty castle and Folk park to visit. I highly recommend the Creamery and Durty Nelly's, I didn't eat anywhere else as we ran out of time. Bunratty is a great location to visit so many places. You can park and access it so easily off the N18 and be on your way. We went to the Cliffs of Moher and Lehinch and stayed a night in Limerick though if I did it again I would have stayed at The Courtyard B&B in Bunratty for the two nights, it was lovely.

Killaloe / Ballina is a beautiful twin town spanning the river Shannon. Great river walks, the old road bridge is now pedestrianised making it easy to go from the Ballina to the Killaloe side and vice versa. There's a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs with indoor and outdoor areas. The Lakeside Hotel Killaloe (on the Ballina side) serves excellent food and drinks. Avoid the Bóruna Gastro Pub for now, it's dirty and the service is poor, could be great with it's rooftop bar but needs a refresh of the property and attitudes. Tuscany Bistro on the Ballina side serves excellent food in with great service Raw Interiors serves great food and coffee on the Killaloe side quirky building and great service
