Beautiful manor by the lake. Location couldn’t be better. I love the surroundings, the morning walk along the lake and in the woods was so pleasant. Dinner was excellent. I would come back to stay here for longer days.

We are usually budget travelers and this was a bit of a splurge for us. It was worth it. It was nice to have a room for the adults and one for our kid. The seating area with a fireplace was also very nice. The breakfast was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the birds/crickets chirping. It was so peaceful. The town was a five minute walk away and had all of the amenities we needed. It was wonderful to have the best of both worlds. Tranquility and convenience together in one location without breaking the bank. Two thumbs up.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with wonderful food and amenities. The staff was fantastic throughout our stay. Highly highly recommend the falconry (amazing experience!) and dinner in the Pullman restaurant, which was one of the best meals I've ever had. There was so much to do - we missed out on seeing a movie in the hotel cinema because we just didn't have time, and there were a range of activities we'd love to come back and try. Lovely resort in a lovely part of Ireland.

The location was perfect for our needs and was quiet, secure and handy to the start of the Wild Atlantic Way. Good on-site parking. The breakfast and other small touches were very much appreciated. I spent three incredible days at Corrib Lodge with my wife, and as a fishing enthusiast, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Lodge is located right on the lake, with private access, and the views are absolutely stunning , but what really makes the difference is the fishing. This place is run by an Italian owner who’s not only a great chef but also a passionate and knowledgeable guide. Every day we went out on the lake with him, fully equipped with top-notch gear, exploring hidden spots, landing great catches, and hearing fascinating stories about the lake’s history. We even stopped on remote islands and visited old castles along the way. They also organize deep-sea fishing trips for those who want to explore the ocean, a great option I’ll definitely try next time. The whole team is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed but well-run. If you love fishing and want something truly special, Corrib Lodge is the place. I’ll be back for sure.

We were just overwhelmed by this place. We got a cozy double room on the first floor with a big balcony. The very inviting Lodge-Style of this hotel made us want to stay forever. Its a small, hidden paradise surrounded by breathtaking nature. The room was super clean and very well designed, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. It was accesible from a beautiful inner courtyard. The balcony had a nice view into the forrest and the mountains behind. A great, high quality breakfast was included with a lots of different stuff to choose from. Over all, one of the best experiences we had so far. The only downside: Even though the restaurant is high quality and serves delicious meals, there is almost nothing else around, so you are kind of depending on them and what they offer. Since its a "higher class" restaurant, you have to take at least two courses, priced from 39€ upwards. There is no simple menu with regular meals to choose - two people pay at least 90€ per evening with no other option. Still, the meals were amazing and of good quality. Over all, it was the most enjoyable stay on our journey so far. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

What a hidden treasure of a hotel! The breakfast alone was amazing!! Hot buffet with thick bacon sausage and eggs! Also had a seperate buffet with kiwi, apples, toast, & cereal. Great coffee and great value! They also have a shuttle from the ferry to the hotel which was nice since the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the terminal!

You have to check out the Latin district and market square. We ate at dough bros and our pizza was delicious! If you have kids(or are just fun and whimsical yourself) they have some carnival rides in the square. We rode the ferris wheel and the merry go round and it was a lot of fun.

The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub standards were very poor and run down....I know this can add to a traditional feel but the Guinness in the pub was poor, as this is a tourist area, this needs to be much improved and the pub we ate in the service was good but overpriced completely....I thought Kinvara would have been better and I would certainly visit but would not need to stay for very long....I was expecting better but I appreciate everyone is trying to make a living and the season is almost over....
