Room, bed and bathroom very clean ;) Hot water (be patient since it takes a few moments), plenty of pillows and an electric kettle in the room - all ready for our comfort. What I appreciated was the swift reaction when a few guests across the corridor had a room party and I mentioned the noise - We had a quiet night after that :) The hotel has 5 lovely freshly renovated rooms and breakfast is taken either in the room or in the lobby. Omlette and chai were delicious and prepared on time as requested. Staff helped us with getting the online tickets for the temples - Thanks!

The entire team is exceptionally caring and attentive—without ever being intrusive. What impressed us most was how individually the staff responded to the needs of their guests. Whether it was small special requests at breakfast, helpful tips for local activities, or simply a warm conversation in between — we always felt welcomed and well taken care of. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel radiates warmth, calm, and a sense of well-being. We have rarely felt so valued as guests. This hotel truly sets the standard for service and hospitality. We can absolutely recommend it — and we would love to return!

Ujjain leaves a lasting impression, not just because of its spiritual aura, but because of its people. The locals are incredibly humble, polite, and welcoming. From the cab drivers and e-rickshaw riders to the hotel owner and restaurant staff, everyone we met carried a genuinely positive attitude and was always ready to help. That warmth adds a special charm to the city and makes travelers feel truly at ease. The holy places deserve special mention. Most of them are well-maintained and surprisingly clean, which enhances the peaceful experience. While a few spots are slightly commercialized, they still feel far more organized and respectful compared to many other major pilgrimage destinations. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after long temple visits and city exploration. On the flip side, transportation outside the city limits could be a bit challenging. E-autos, though convenient within the city, can feel uncomfortable for longer distances, especially since some of the roads are uneven and not in the best condition. Planning transport in advance can make a big difference here. Overall tip for visitors: embrace the kindness of the people, enjoy the spiritual calm, but be mindful while choosing transport for outstation travel. Small preparations can truly elevate your Ujjain experience.

With so much construction going on, condition of most of the...

With so much construction going on, condition of most of the roads was pathetic with dust blowing all around. Added to this, erratic traffic with NO one following the traffic rules, particularly TWO WHEELERS. made things worse. SO best is to wait for another year, by which time ,hopefully, roads would have been constructed or repaired to visit Indore.

Best offbeat place in India.One can stay for a week and enjoy visiting the 1000yrs old temples. Near to Panna Tiger Reserve and Mini Canyon and Water Fall. Plan the trip and enjoy. Khajuraho is well connected.

The Fort is really beautiful.

The Fort is really beautiful. You need a guide to understand the subtleties. The Jai Vilas Palace is one of the best curated museums - the building is by itself stunning, the curation of every room done with clear historical and aesthetic intent. And Tansen and Md. Gauss's tomb - a hidden quiet gem in the middle of a crazy market And Kothari Sons - a lovely place to get your fix of Chanderi sarees.

The trekking to chauragarh was ethereal. It feels as if you are among clouds. Beefalls is something that gives to much peace and joy and relax your mind. Jatashankar Mahadev under the rock is must visit as it enfolds many natural shapes carved by rocks ie; crocodile,fish, and lot more. Lot more sights are there to visit.... We ate at shivam restaurant behind pachmarhi hotel. Food was tasty and in reasonable price. For sight visit, gypsy are all around and hotels also provide details for gypsies and sights. In pachmarhi lake there are activities like boating and ziplining..

Largest cantonment area in the country, where prisoners and officers of the pakistan armed forces were interned after the December 1971 war. Ironically many officers of the vanquished army were colleagues and contemporaries of their counterparts in The victorious Indian armed forces when they were part of the British army, navy and Royal Air Force. Fighting friends and colleagues due to avaricious politicians in both countries.

Raipur is a good city in itself.

Raipur is a good city in itself. It a small city with less of traffic in comparison to Metro Cities. I would suggest anyone travelling to Raipur to get your hotel bookings done once you reach the city. There are a lot of hotels available. In a radius of 5- 6 kms around the railway station there are around 80 to 90 hotels. So I suggest anyone travelling to Raipur to go there a book a room for yourself once you yourself have seen the property.

Maheshwar is a very holy site on the banks of the Narmada river. The temples and ghats are a lovely site to experience. The town appears to be visited by very few foreign visitors; as such it is a very "chill" place where no one bothers you, even if you clearly stand out as a foreigner. Beyond the ghats, the town a pleasant environment to explore. Amongst the temples is a scattering of charming colonial-style buildings.
