The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was absolutely amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to have a late check out. Also they were extremely kind to give my husband a complimentary birthday cake which was absolutely delicious. Thank you! The swimming pool is very practical and pleasent, the view, exquisite, the sunset admiring point is top notch. Parking in front of hotel is another big plus. The partnering beach is very convenient.     Omg this place is perfect for couples who wanted to celebrate thir anniversary or any especial occasions. I how courteous the staff and the room was a good ambiance and perfect to see the whole beach front. We liked the food and fine dining restaurant I loved the seafood spaghetti. The staffs can speak a little English but mostly can speak German so its ok coz my partner is Austrian. Love how clean and very accommodating the staff. Value for money was awesome. They upgraded our room but sane price so we loved it. We celebrated our anniversary today so we really love it.

    The hotel is really close to the beach. We went swimming in almost November and there were 26 degrees. Beach is large for walks or play with children. Near the beach there is good restaurant and in front we had a parking space (I guess in the season it is full). There is a ferry that takes you directly to the Venice Marco Polo square only 15min drive with a car to the port. Staff in the hotel was really friendly. Breakfast was ok (italian style :) ).

    The hotel is charming and the location is perfect. Right on the beach. It has an excellent breakfast, which can be enjoyed outside on the patio area by the lovely pool. The hotel also provides you with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella located on the private beach in front of the hotel! So nice! The staff is welcoming and friendly especially Manuela. Who was the sweetest and kindest reception host I have encountered! Thank you!

    The best choice of the hotel for winter. Everybody who loves and visit Lignano in the winter as well, knows very well, that not a lot of hotels are open. Most of opened hotels are without heating,without warming beddings, but Columbus has all! Perfect position, comfortable bed, good equipment of the room, tasty rich breakfast, clean rooms, 24 hours reception which I appreciate. I am regular customer already 2 years.

    just behind the hotel is a strip where all the bars,shops , restaurants are located. they all appeared to be of a very high standard. great beer options. food is made to a very good standard. We went into John Martins , Mary's , Route 66 and theB. live music venue. drink and food prices reasonable. the beach is sunbeds cheek by jowl, but the hotel alocates sunbeds. very safe beach and warm meditteranian sea. use insect bite cream though due to the lagoon location.

    Grado is such an amazing location with its historical center, cathedral and breathtaking landscape; also the surroundings are absolutely wonderful: Gorizia is such a lovely city to visit and, if you have got the chance, go for her Transalpina Railways in the heart of Slovenia :)

    Carole's beach was perfect for us.

    Carole's beach was perfect for us. It was sandy, gently sloping, and jellyfish-free. In the evenings, the central streets of the town turn into pedestrian zones with various attractions. During our vacation, we managed to visit a Miró and Dalí exhibition at the Centro Culturale Bafile as well! The beach promenade behind the hotels offers excellent opportunities for nighttime strolls and is also great for morning runs. At the end of the promenade, near the Chiesa della Madonna dell'Angelo, the night and daytime views are stunning.

It’s well-maintained and less crowded than many Italian seaside spots, making it perfect for relaxing or taking long walks by the water. On the lagoon side, it's all about nature. You’ll find salt marshes, birdwatching opportunities, and peaceful cycling paths—especially scenic at sunrise and sunset. It is just a short vaporetto (waterbus) ride away from Venice, departing from Punta Sabbioni. This makes it a smart base if you want to explore Venice by day but sleep somewhere more relaxed and affordable.

    Compared to crowded Caorle, Duna Verde is quite quiet place. Couple of good restaurants, two small shops, beach not overcrowded, nice sea. Big supermarket 3 km, Caorle 8 km. The place in the restaurants is recommended to be booked upfront.

    Charming little village with beautiful scenery of pine...

    Charming little village with beautiful scenery of pine forest. Perfect for families as well as adults looking for quiet holiday destination. Beaches are wide and clean with all amenities which you need. Very good choice of restaurants option with delicious sea food.

    It's a lovely place to relax.

    It's a lovely place to relax. A wonderful beach, with fine and extremely generous sand, wonderful water and a smooth and pleasant entrance to the sea. In the evening we found a multitude of restaurants and pizzerias where the food is very good!

    We really liked the quality of food in the restaurants and that of the products on sale in shops. The staff was really professional, quick, helpful and attentive everywhere. There are a lot of facilities to choose from ranging from entertainment, eating out and shops to programmes. Nicely landscaped public places, well-maintained buildings, cleanliness and all kinds of facilities can be found within easy reach. Flamingo ristorante had the best cozze pasta and in Croce del Sud we also had great food and quick service.
