The staff and owners are very kind and helpful, they tried to fulfill any of our requests. Delicious breakfast with lots of cakes, and dinner is very delicious and varied. A special thank's even though they don't have a special gluten-free kitchen, they did everything to ensure that my gluten-free little girl eat very well. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s location was ideal, just a short walk to the ski lifts. A lovely surprise awaited us on arrival with Prosecco, and we also got to enjoy a special event with Glühwein and snacks in front of the hotel—such a nice touch! We got a large superior suite with a private jacuzzi, very comfortable, my children were in the focus of the staff who always fulfill all our wishes. We were so pleased with the great Italian cuisine and hospitality that we wanted to dine only at the hotel. Very close to the ski area, with a private ski bus. Lovely central location in the dolomites! The river path repairs are almost finished after the 2018 storm damage. Great location to jump on the Sella Ronda or just enjoy winter or summer activities in the Mountains. Not particularly a destination in itself just a nice place to come back to after a mountain excursion. Pre-COVID there were plenty of dining options, now not so much. Good town with a family friendly ski resort nearby. If you want more entertainment and ski slopes, you can drive 30 km from the town to the Marmalada mountain and get to the sella ronda tracks. Excellent place for a ski trip.
Excellent place for a ski trip. Has plenty of slopes nearby and is directly on Sella Ronda and Grande Guerra for whole day skiing adventures. You can easily get to Marmolada which has an amazing view of the Dolomites. Local ski-pass is a bit pricy compared to Austria and France. This is partly offset by Dolomiti Super Ski pass which lets you access a huge number of locations and is a bargain if you're a good skier and can cover a lot of ground.
