IsraelThe hotel is located in the quiet, historic town of Viterbo. One of its main attractions is the thermal pool. The pool is available from 8:00 AM exclusively for hotel guests and opens to the public at 9:00 AM.
Overall, we chose this hotel for its thermal pool, and we did not regret it. It was a real pleasure to walk from the thermal baths to our room in a robe.
The breakfast was European-style.

IsraelThe hotel is located in an excellent location—on one hand, it is far and quiet, and on the other hand, it is just a 2-minute drive from Terme dei Papi and 7 minutes from the city center of Viterbo. The staff is wonderful and helpful, starting with Aurelia at the reception who does everything to answer and assist, continuing with Roberta who is responsible for the dining room in the morning and takes care of every need, and finally, Sofia at the restaurant in the evening who ensures we feel like royalty at dinner. The hotel’s restaurant is excellent, and everything is in good taste. Most importantly, the place is quiet and peaceful, allowing one to simply be there and forget about the daily hustle and bustle. I have no doubt that we will return.

I dined at the restaurant downstairs for dinner, they were very help and patient with my lack of Italian, it was an amazing dinner, especially the steak which they specialize in. I would go back again easily.

A lovely vacation, the accommodation is full of greenery, phenomenally maintained, well-equipped, clean and pleasant. We were a family with two children and a baby, and we got everything we needed.
The breakfast at the place is charming, tasty and satisfying.
Martina and the rest of the staff were very welcoming, helpful and generous with anything we needed.
A dream vacation! Without a doubt we will return for another stay.

Room was of perfect size, beautifuly decorated, and warm during early spring months. Kitchen contains all needed. We were impressed how clean everything was. One of the best hotels we stayed in Italy. Located outside Viterbo in beautiful area. The structure is dated, but in good condition. There is a nice pool and very good restorant. The room was spacious and we had a big terace.

This is a must see for Italy lovers, in my opinion.
This is a must see for Italy lovers, in my opinion. The history and art is extremely interesting and the ancient city is one you can get lost in, wandering down narrow charming streets, stumbling upon a palazzo from medieval times, or coming upon a breathtaking view. Viterbo is not a curated experience, such as Montalcino or Montepulciano. It is a bit gritty and caters to its community, not tourists. Its Etruscan and medieval era history and art is exceptional if limited. A great stopping off point if heading north from Rome. There are hot springs in the area which we didn't have time to experience.

We were four friends traveling together.
We were four friends traveling together. We have been friends since we were 8 years old, and we were celebrating our 50th birthday. Everything exceeded our expectations - inside, outside and the host. It was jus the perfect balance for us. We recommend it or anybody looking for a retreat in the country side, but still close to a municipality and several historic sites and hot thermal pools - it is surely a house in the woods. We just absolutely loved it, and Simona was so friendly and gave us amazing suggestions on activity in a short drive away. The atmosphere was so friendly that we would rather stay in and cook dinner than go out - just so friendly, cozy, and welcoming :)

Ronciglione exceeded all our expectations.
Ronciglione exceeded all our expectations. We recommend it to everyone. The old part is very authentic, it is worth entering every street and alley. Go down into the valley. The city looks incredible from below. The road through the valley is very romantic. Be sure to walk down the valley to the old railway bridge - it looks really impressive. The village does not look very touristy, but for us that was only a plus.

Caprarola is one of the best.
This is a medieval hilly town among the fields and vineyards, which gives it its charm.
Villa Farnese is definitely worth the visit, and on must go to the park to the end to see very special fontaine and garden architecture.
Not a lot of restaurants (town is small) but of a high quality.

I have visited Viterbo a number of times and love walking around the historical centre. I use Viterbo as my base to visit towns and sites nearby as I don't drive, so it is very convenient and well serviced by Cotral bus services to the different places.

The town is small, but it has a very personal atmosphere. The people are all friendly, they are not yet facing a mass influx of tourists and it shows in their great willingness to help, to treat. The surroundings are extremely charming, but it's good to have a car; public transport works well, but it's still not that frequent, which is understandable given the location and size. Soriano is a small place, but there are plenty of sights to see, and it's possible to enjoy its atmosphere, which larger places don't allow as well.

A beautiful town which deserves more visitors, the food was the best of our entire trip, the La Casa del Gusto was especially notable (pick whatever mushrooms are in season, especially if they are offering them with steak!).
The Villa Farnese and gardens are well worth a visit and really magical with incredible staff.
Wish we could have stayed longer, this is a lovely peaceful spot with rich history, culture and food.

Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!

The facilities were excellent, but the property was difficult access due to steep narrow streets. We called and the management arranged for us and our luggage to be picked up in the parking lot and brought to the resort. At checkout they returned us to our car.
