This is among the best accommodations I've been. A truly spectacular place to get some rest (and even work done if you are traveling for business). The place itself and surroundings are really beautiful. The breakfast is superb with a huge variety. The room that was offered to me was spacious with a view from the garden and the hills. The accommodation looked even better live than on pictures. Very beautiful, tranquil ambiance. Birds chirping sounds everywhere surrounded by nature. The property is generous and incredibly well kept. Everything was kept in a great state, whether interior wise or the garden areas. With the small playground area it also seems perfect for kids and children. There is a small chapel (or church?) on the property! Idyllic. The pool looked nice, we didn’t use it since we arrived during a chilly time. The breakfast is rather more Italian style oriented: several home baked goods (cakes and muffins), a bit of baguette, a bit of cheese and ham/ prosciutto, cooked eggs, an onion/ tomato salad, some fruits, fresh juices and some yoghurt as far as I remember - accompanied by perfect Italian coffee. This suited our personal taste. The wine tasting included 3 wines (2 red 1 white) which are produced in their own local winery. We were chatting with the sommelier during the tasting, it was very nice. The staff was helpful and kind. The rooms were clean, warm and cozy. Definitely very nice interior, some of the nicest I‘ve seen in Italy and I visited more than half the Country. Also, many seating accommodations outside, both on the common balcony as well as on the ground level, where the reception is. Common area inside serves as a common living room, there is a coffee machine at the entrance for guest usage which makes espresso. Loved the experience. Might return for a family stay. Still very romantic for a partner stay. We were very smitten with our brief stay here.

The staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to help me and my group. Incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. It's always difficult dealing with a group of 20+ people but they never once made it seem like they were bothered by us even when our situation was definitely a bit annoying. The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills, although just 40 minutes slow drive to Florence The hotel is 7 minutes outside the town, so walking is difficult. Need a car to go anywhere. Taxis are not available. This hotel is pretty good, but the much-acclaimed restaurant is, at best, just above average and pricey. Claims to be "special" but isn't! Terrace dining is romantic but watch the wasps in the daytime and mosquitos in the evening. Swmming pool fairly small and crowded. Grounds are pristine and lots of lovely bougainvillea. Reception staff smile a lot. Huge carpark!

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!

I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.

This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. Panzano was so charming and lovely!

Panzano was so charming and lovely! It is quite small, with very few shops, so there isn't a lot of shopping to do. But the Sunday market was nice. There was gelato and a lovely piazza. Several restaurants, though the best restaurant hands-down was the Ristorante Valle just outside of town. It is gorgeously scenic from all angles, the Le Fonti vineyard has the best wine, olive oil, and views. It was far more charming than Greve and so peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend, especially for a quiet, beautiful, romantic getaway!
