- From US$42.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,978 reviewsMoab Hotel is located in the center of the city, so it is within walking distance. Simon was very friendly, he supported our luggage, recommended delicious restaurants nearby, and gave us a discount. The room has a small terrace, and there are shampoo and towels. Also, Simon recommended we use the jacuzzi for free. The breakfast is very good. You can enjoy the city view overlooking from the rooftop. If I visit Madaba again, I will stay at the Moab Hotel.Guest review byYEONMISouth Korea

Ray, at the reception will do his best to help you and organize everything for you. The place is excellent value. Very clean and comfortable room with a balcony and a view on the mosq. Excellent location too, in central Madaba close to shops and places of interest.Guest review byCATHERINESpain

It was so nice waking up to that view. Breakfast was included, which was simple but really good! Samir was very friendly and helpful. You just have to walk down a few steps and reach the dead sea! All in all we loved this accommodation and would book it again!Guest review byAvaAustria

Madaba is world famous for its ancient mosaics and its modern day mosaic school and workshops. If you want to see a mosaic, go to Madaba. Furthermore there are some very good and well priced restaurants.Guest review byTimothyUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow.
The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow. The place needs some attention and could use a coat of paint and some general maintenance. The staff are very nice, but why are there no women working there? Overall we would recommend Mujib Chalets. The site is so beautiful and the Dead Sea so weird that there is no place like it.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The tourist part with St John the Baptist church, visitor centre, museum and burnt palace etc is easy to explore and plenty of eateries too. Shop keepers are helpful and don't hassle you much. Easy to take a taxi to Mount Nebo, and I also enjoyed Bethany beyond the Jordan (where John the Baptist did his work), which takes a bit longer as you get bussed from the visitor reception to the river. It was amazing to look across the river to Israel where someone was being baptised. The Dead Sea and Hot Springs are also within reach, but not sure how it works with all the 4star hotels along the edge. Yellow taxis plentiful. If it's cold in Madaba (I was there in early March and they had a cold spell) the good news is its warm at the Dead Sea and the hot springs are wonderfully warm.Guest review byLesleyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We almost skipped Madaba as we wanted to spend more time in Petra and Wadi Rum but were so glad we went and could have spent more time. Besides the incredible mosaics, there are Roman ruins and underground spaces that were fun to explore plus this had some of the best shopping we saw and we regretted not having more time to browse. With its Byzantine history Madaba feels different than the other cities in Jordan and is well worth the visit.Guest review byAprilUnited States
