Both the room (and shared bathroom) and the common areas were really nice. The staff has always been extremely nice, attentive and helpful. Location is perfect, very close to the riverside. Very good restaurant too.

I traveled to Kratie with my girlfriend and we were very happy of our choice! Although is not located in the center, Dary’s Village Guesthouse is a beautiful place were to stay and the host was really helpful and extremely kind! She recommended the best tour to see the dolphins and was really worth it! The room was clean and nice, with all the comfort you need and next to it there is a beautiful local market where you can find many delicacies for breakfast! If you want to experience the local warmth of the Cambodian people this is a great place to stay!

Everything was exactly as we expected. The owner, Mr Sok, and his family were truly amazing. To stay there is a real opportunity to learn about the rural Cambodia, its present and past, from the inside. It's even more complete if you take the local tour with Sok as we did. Sok is one of the kindest, most generous and helpful persons we have ever meet. He doesn't just play his role of host with excellence, but he also truly cares about everyone he is in contact with. The room is basic but clean, as well as the shared bathroom. Next to the house there is a daily market. To walk around it is also a good opportunity to see the people in their daily activities, but it starts really early so earplugs are advised if you wanna sleep after 5 am. The food is also really delicious and cheap.

We have been traveling for 10 weeks (India, Thailand, Cambodia) and Privada Lodge was The fIrst Hotel that Felt like we were “coming home.” The main room is decorated with beautiful and interesting art…it feels upscale Vintage and very Comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! The omelette is fluffy and delicious. The banana crepes were authentic. The owner is French and his influence shows in the food, aesthetics and attention to style and detail. The bed was So Comfortable!! The room was Spacious and Quiet. The owner arranged a tour for us to see the dolphins…plus we had lunch at a pier on the river covered in thatch- with hammocks everywhere! SWAM in The Mekong! Saw a Beautiful Temple! And a Sunset that was Spectacular!! Our Tuk Tuk Driver- Soda- was Fabulous!
