The hotel was great, I enjoyed my stay here very, very much. The location is amazing, as everything we wanted to see in Seoul was easily accessible via the nearby metro and bus stations. The room was very spacious, and the staff always super friendly (the girl who was there for our check-in was extremely friendly, she recommended where to eat and her recommendation was top notch - it's a korean bbq place very close to the hotel). I also have to mention that the beds were really very comfortable. I had an amazing sleep every night.

..I returned ! Everything just works perfectly here. Location to Everything major in myeongdong. The beds very comfortable and huge tv purified water on tap in the room They have washing machines and dryer too on the 5th all included and a nice lobby lounge area with ample coffee video games phuseball.. Staff are all really nice and helpful.. Ample brollies at the door too. You shouldn't think twice with this place unless you're seeking a pool.. Meridian is across the hall if you're a bonvoy member .

The best hotel I've ever stayed in! I booked this hotel as a treat for final night in South Korea after just over 2 weeks exploring as much as I could in this amazing country. I almost felt disappointed going out in the evening as I had to sacrifice time in my amazing room. I booked a Premier suite and enjoyed the views from my room, the pool and the amazing showers. Plus, the massage chair. I couldn't get out of it for 30 minutes! Not only this, the staff were incredible. So friendly and breakfast service was amazing. It was fantastic to have a final Korean meal and recommendations from the chef cooking your food fresh as you head to their counter.

We had an excellent experience at Shilla Stay Seoul Station. We stayed one night and it was a perfect base for seeing Seoul, close to convenience stores, the train station, and metro transport links. The staff were charming and helpful and our room was spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean. Plenty of water in the fridge and lovely toiletries and towels in the bathroom. The building is stylish and thoughtfully designed, with a very pleasant sitting area in the lobby and easy taxi drop-offs and collection right at the door. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 6 nights with two children under 5 in a family room. The room was massive,so good for the children to play. All was clean. The staff were nice. Location great and quite at night. Breakfast was okay. The view from the room was great, we could see Seoul tower and the park outside the other window.

Very good hotel with top of the class service and extremly friendly personal. Location is near line 3 of the metro and with that you are very good connected to all the places in Seoul. Absolutly stunning gym, spa & pool area!

I loved how spacious my room was. I had a huge walk-in wardrobe and the bathroom had two sinks. The shower area and toilet also had doors so there was privacy. The hotel lobby also sells the best strawberry shortcake.

There are a lot of shops and malls, when we went to the...

There are a lot of shops and malls, when we went to the palace we were turned away at the gate as they had changed to the winter timetable without updating their website, which was very disappointing as it was our last day there. If I would do the trip again, I'd definitely explore the villages outside of Seoul, and try to see more of their culture rather than wasting time in malls.

Vibrant city with lots of culture. There seems to be a lot of greenery close by and the colours of the trees are spectacular. Walking down from the Seoul Tower at sunset was beautiful as was the Olympic Park walk around the lake. The fact that people wear traditional costumes to the palaces makes those visits special. The night market in the centre should not be missed. One feels safe in Seoul with respect an important feature. The public transportation system is excellent once you get the hang of the local App. Any language barriers can be resolved using modern translation tools

Out of the few capital cities I've visited, I found Seoul to likely be one of the most overrated (a slight bit above Paris maybe). The food is great, the subway network is fast, fairly priced and very convenient, but other than that there is very little that made me think that was worth coming. And while most of the people are about as nice as anywhere else, there are quite a number of pretty rude people or a number of situations where a sort of "me first" mentality shows up (queue skipping, rushing to seats in the subway...) and can be quite annoying depending on where you come from.
