We had a perfect stay at this hotel in Luang Prabang! The location is ideal, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the setting is very pleasant. A huge thank you especially to the two young people at the reception — absolutely amazing: always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist us with everything (organizing activities, giving tips about the city, making bookings…). They truly made our stay even more enjoyable! I highly recommend this hotel, both for the quality of the place and the extraordinary kindness of its team.

Everything. This place is just stunning. Photos do not do it justice to just how beautiful it is. The staff are so nice and accommodating and always there to help in anyway. The pool is lovely. Rather cold actually. Breakfast is diverse and so nice. Free Laos coffee and teas. Refillable glass water bottles in the room. Every little detail is thought of. Location is good. A good massage place next door, laundry (way cheaper than hotel) down the road and night market 6-7min walk. They can organise any tour you want and all good price. Highly recommend.

My stay at Villa Chitdara was outstanding. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the balcony with a view of the garden was a bonus. Breakfast was outstanding- numerous options, including a cooked breakfast, fresh fruit and good coffee. The location was perfect; within walking distance to the sights and eateries, yet on a quiet street. I will stay here next time I am in Luang Prabang. Highly recommend.

It is perfectly situated on the bank of the Mekong River where you can see the sunset and the fogs floating around in the morning. There are buffalos roaming around the garden adding to the touch of nature. We visited the prince’s lodge right before check out. It would be better if the hotel could add some plaques to explain the historical meaning and the collections.

Location was great, and we loved biking around the town on the bikes provided by the hotel. It was also easy to walk from the hotel as well. The food was mostly outstanding, the staff very friendly with excellent English. We loved the architecture and layout of the hotel, and the pool was amazing.

It was a nice trip to Luang Prabang.

It was a nice trip to Luang Prabang. The place I stayed right on the Mekong River and the markets so the location was perfect. However, the hotel was kind of run down so we were a little bit sad. The people were friendly and helpful even their English is limited or non-existent. The tours was reasonable and interesting, especially the Kuangsi Waterfalls and Pakou Caves. The street food was awesome and cheap. Above all, LP definitely a must see city in Laos.

It’s very relaxing and easy to get around which are both a plus and minus. It’s great if you don’t want to do much as you will probably max out your activities over 2 days. Which was perfect for our 4 day trip

A fairy tale town in a lovely country.

A fairy tale town in a lovely country. One of the world's best (and I've seen more than my share), Such lovely people. The power of a smile!!! You'll quickly recognise the better eateries, of which there are plenty for all tastes. Bouang was one. If you want photographs - and you will - just be patient: crowds clear, clouds clear, and you will get your lifetime best photos!
