Overall, I had a wonderful stay with my family, and it was an amazing experience. The full area was very calm and we were so relaxed. I was surprised really about your property and how amazing place that it was located. That made my day, honestly. I had visited your city several times and stayed in numerous hotels within your property range, but I could not find another property that gave us with the services you did. The check-in process went smoothly, and the staff were nice and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, and everything was really clean. The food quality was so good. Some dishes were excellent. The breakfast options were extremely good, and we had, like, enjoyed a lot. I mean, everything was better than we expected in a good way. I appreciate your efforts in making our stay enjoyable, and I hope this feedback will help you improve your services. The hotel is in a beautiful location, overlooking the lake. There are so many birds to see. You can also go on a boattrip to see the wildlife. It was stunning. And very quiet, no roadnoise. You are only a few minutes away from the ancient city, in a tuk tuk. Food was good and the staff very friendly.

The staff was amazing. Specially the boys from restaurant. They were really kind to us. We were late for the breakfast on the day we went on the safari they waited us to come and finish breakfast. I really think the hotel owner should give them an increment. Food was delicious. We had some clothing to get washed. I gave them around 8.00 in the morning. I received all back washed, dried, ironed and folded by 12.30. very kind people including the reception. The hotel arranged us the safari for a reasonable price. The driver was the most kind safari driver I have ever met. We have been to other places too. But didn't meet a person who care for the animals this much. Had the best day. Thank you.

Clean, Comfortable, and Family-Friendly – Just Like Our Own Home Our stay at Honey Tree Polonnaruwa was wonderful! The pool was crystal clear and even had a safe area for small children. With only six rooms, the atmosphere was quiet and private — perhaps the only hotel in Polonnaruwa with a pool for such a small number of guests. The rooms were very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Excellent value for money!

The accomodation is overseeing the lake of Pollonaruwa and you can tell that a lot of attention has been paid to every detail. The rooms are amazing, spacious and have a lot of facilities (for example there was fridge, sound system, bathrobe, bath slippers and even the toiletries were beyond what we expected). The personnel was very kind and very accommodating. I loved our stay, I wish I could enjoy it more!

Half a day was enough as the sun was out and draining.

Half a day was enough as the sun was out and draining. At the last stop in Polonnaruwa where you have the temple there was a young man sketching and painting. There was also an older gentleman selling Neem & Jamun tree wood containers and tumblers for keeping water in the night and drinking in the morning Neem for better all over health & Jamun for decreasing blood sugar.

Amazing, smaller national park.

Amazing, smaller national park. More of a wild, intimate experience than it's massively over subscribed cousins. We were in very close contact with a family of elephants, (including baby) for at least 20 mins before another jeep arrived, and then it was only just the two vehicles.

This is a far better place to stay due to the quality of the resort than in Polonnaruwa. A guest could stay here for many days as the ground are huge and relaxing. Pool and spa are kept spotless by a dedicated person that has been doing ot proudly for over 21 years.

The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has a lot to offer to the tourists who want to know about the history of Sri Lanka. It has so many ruins and monuments to view, and especially marvel at the stone crafting abilities of ancient Sri Lankans who have created so many buddhist states and artistic monuments by using rocks. Definitely a trip to add to your bucket list.

Lovely national park, clean, quiet compared to other parks in Sri Lanka. Fairly priced entrance fee, guide joins you on the jeep, but optional to tip them. Ours was superb and pointed out many things we would have missed otherwise.

The ancient ruins are a wonder to visit.

The ancient ruins are a wonder to visit. Some great knowledgeable guides available. A few crooks about aggressively selling their Tuk Tuk and bicycle hire to be beware of. Our guide was sadly threatened and intimidated by these bullysome men.
