ThailandThe apartment was very clean, very quiet, and modern. It felt that owners thought about every detail, starting from design to new bedding, and towels. Also, there was even water, coffee capsules, and tea, the quality of materials they used in the bathroom and WC, was just amazing. It felt like home. I travel a lot and stay in different countries and cities, but this property was a real treasure. So sorry we stayed just one night because it is made for a long time staying as well. I can just imagine how is it to stay at winter time and use beautiful fireplace:))

Spacious outside and inside sitting areas, pool and sauna were great, beds pretty comfy and the kitchen was properly stacked with everything you can possibly think of, including spices (we brought our own, expecting salt and pepper only).
Lake is a few steps down from the property, where you can go for a swim or take a SUP, changing huts are right by the lake too.
Location is great to visit waterfalls and Kuldiga itself, caves and, also, owner suggested ostrich and goats farm - which proven to be a great little hidden gem, young ladies serving and giving a tour were an absolute joy and the food at the restaurant on site was lovely too.
Little minimarket is 2 min walk away from the property and has everything you might possibly need, from groceries, toileitries, drinks and eben coal for bbq.
All in all - a great place at a great location and more than reasonably priced.

Stop looking, this is the ideal place in Kuldiga, right on the main square ; you can go everywhere on foot. This one of the very best apts that we have rented, if not the best. It is vast with two big bedrooms, very quiet, well heated if need be. It was recently renovated with charm and very good taste, equipped with top quality appliances, washer and dryer. Well equipped for cooking. A french coffee press, some coffee supplied. Very responsive hosts. A fabulous deal at the price we got it in October. Make sure to eat at the restaurant Bangert's, you get a 10% rebate with the key. Charming decor, great food, good price and service.

Staying at Meždzirnas Country House & SPA was far more than just a simple overnight stay – it was a chance to experience a completely different lifestyle. Surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful scenery, the house itself is full of charm and character.
What truly made the visit special was the incredibly welcoming host, who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a slower pace of life, even if just for a little while.

Had a great time in Pilskalni with my friends. We came there with a focus on fishing and every single one of us managed to catch our personal best. Three of us large pikes and the forth super huge perch. Host Meinards also showed us around the neighboring properties by driving us and giving the tour himself. In Pilskalni you will also have a chance to see a lot of historic elements from the Soviet times.

The excursion to the milk museum was simply delight.

Very nice little town and a good place to stay to explore...
Very nice little town and a good place to stay to explore the countryside in the National Park up to the coast. Nice cafes like Marmalade or Pi cafe. Choice of restaurants is sufficient. We stayed at Raxti apartments which was wonderful.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday in Kuldiga. Most restaurants close at 8 pm we only found one that stayed open until later. This restaurant in the main square was fantastic, nice food and great service. I loved the waterfalls and the surrounding area. An absolute little gem.

My favorite place in Kuldiga is Kuldiga itself, the beauty, nature, old buildings etc. It is very easy to move around Kuldiga, because there are helpful signs everywhere. We ate at the restaurant "Jekaba seta", delicious food for good prices, very tasty cocktails, very good service.
