This hotel is really so great, I don’t even know from where to begin. First of all, while checking in we got an upgrade from the junior suite to the superior suite, which was a very nice surprise. If you’re looking for a nice beach resort, there are no doubts that this is the best hotel to stay in: crystal clear waters and white sands just a few steps away from the room. Then, when you turn your head to the left, there’s a breathtaking, dramatic view of Le Morne. There are lots of water activities that you can do, we enjoyed the pédalo and boat with glass bottom (our son enjoyed seeing sea turtles and fish) There are 4 restaurants in the resort, and they’re all really good (keep in mind that for the Blue Marlin, men can not wear shorts). This is nice to have if you’re staying for a long period, you’ll have more variety of cuisines. Also, breakfast is served in 2 restaurants so you can choose the one you prefer. We personally loved the breakfast spot at Zest, as the view is so serene and relaxing, right by the sea and boats. There is an amazing kids club, very highly recommended for you to either leave your kids with the super friendly staff, or just spend some time with your children there. We were very impressed by this to be honest. The staff is very friendly, always smiling, accommodating and super helpful. Special thanks to Kavita our housekeeper. If you’re a golfer , they also have nice golfing fields. Their spa is also really great. So if you’re hesitating with your hotel options, I’m here to tell you, don’t think twice, definitely go with Paradis Beachcomber. We’re already very excited in visiting again.

Gosun Beach Hotel is a cozy and welcoming small hotel with a personal touch. The breakfast was really good – not the largest buffet, but instead focused on quality, which we truly appreciated after staying at other hotels in Mauritius that prioritized quantity but lacked flavor. The eggs, made to order, were excellent, and it was a big plus that breakfast was served until 10:30. The rooms were newly renovated and very spacious. The courtyard pool was a lovely place to relax in the afternoon after a day of exploring. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful – we felt very well taken care of.

The staff was simply amazing. We had previously booked at a different place nearby and we was extremely disappointed. Our taxi driver told us about Aanari and they were kind enough to accommodate us at the very last moment and made us feel so comfortable. A great guy, Nathan who is an employee at Aanari Hotel was kind enough to navigate us through the country! Bonus points just because Flic en Flac Beach is just opposite the road with many food outlets and ATM's plus the bar at night is such a vibe.

It’s hard to put into words the magic we experienced at Sands Resort. My wife and I chose this place for our intimate wedding and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles, warmth, and a level of care that can’t be taught – it comes from genuine dedication. Every detail, from the beautifully decorated room, to the perfectly manicured garden overlooking the ocean, and the flawless organization of our special day, was handled with love and elegance. The beach is simply stunning, white sand, the scent of the ocean, and sunsets that look like something out of a movie. The food is outstanding, diverse, authentic, and each bite tells a story of its own. Our stay at Sands wasn’t just a vacation, it was the beginning of our married life in the most beautiful setting imaginable. If you're looking for a place where you'll truly feel special, where every moment is filled with peace, beauty, and thoughtful service.. look no further. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the entire Sands Resort team. This wasn’t just a stay, it was an experience we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. We’ll definitely be back. maybe to celebrate an anniversary. Suncica and Mario :)

A very pleasant surprise. The villas are wonderful and very smart located inside the resort. Because everything was renovated a couple of years ago it all looks great. The restaurants, lobby area and the bar are very nice and provide a very relaxing atmosphere. The food is good, except for fruits and vegetables which are not very tasty (all import). The beach experience is great, with a very beautiful water and sandy beach with sunbeds located 10-15 m apart. The staff is more friendly than in other hotels on the island (mauritius people are not very friendly by default). Oliver was a great host on the beach and Minta a great concierge during our stay. The overall experience is great, the hotel provides you 2 times cleaning per day, complimentary treats on the beach and in the room and a very diverse mini bar. It is a hotel in which we can return anytime with great pleasure.

Loved the clean place. The palm trees. There are many things to do at resort. Boat trips, dolphin swimming, minigolf, sups and kayaks and so much more. Also the place offers FREE green fees on Tamarina Golf course and Ile aux cerfs. This is crazy deal you get. Food is delicious, on friday there was a lot of mauritian food for dinner which is great and tasty. Lets be honest the resort is not the cheapest but I think it delivers the most for its price. I would also like to thank the staff working at cocktail bar on beach. (two guys especially who made us super good cocktails for 3 nights in row, they are amazing!!!!). Thank you also for unforgetable diving expirience. Thank you for delicious fried eggs every morning. And thanks to staff welcoming us, helping us on every step and keeping us welcomed.

Loved the location, the food, the quality of drinks, the easy relaxed beach, the comfy pool, the room was really nice and I had a great sea view - after a small debate with the staff who tried to put me in the annex across the road. Hold your ground and they'll make sure you're in the main resort. Honestly this was a fabulous stay and I would come back. I really enjoyed how sweet the staff were. Ray on the beach, happy birthday to your little girl! You deserve a raise and all the tips. I was so welcomed and it was lovely.

Lovely atmosphere, not isolated from the locals, excellent street food by the beach, great swimming - snorkelling limited by depleted marine life. Dive centre close by which ran excellent PADI courses. Parking easy, superb restaurants close by - 2 within the wi-fi zone of the apartment. Tu beach is just amazing, the color of the water is impressive, in the public beach you have to possibility to see the see turtles. The place is a piece of paradise. Definitely worth to go and to spend some time there. I would recommend an hotel next to the le Morne beach most of the hotel do not have the possibility to eat or rent the sun bed just daily. Also I would recommend the experience of swimming with the dolphins that is offered almost everywhere.

It's a properly rustic paradise area, away from the more fabricated hotel resorts. Lots of locals who know one another and it feels safe, if a little rough around the edges. It has its own cultural and geographical charm that seems to differentiate it from other parts of Mauritius. Lots of places to eat, a good supermarket - seems expensive for the area, but I think this is quite common. Good offers of boat hire to get over to Ile aux Benitiers, which is well worth it. Close proximity to the lovely Morne peninsular and Black River Gorges National Park and surrounds.

La Gaulette does not have a beach and the sea there is ugly. Le Morne (which is very close) is the only place nearby with a nice beach, but it is widely occupied by luxury hotels. another problem with La Gaulette is that it is not usable as a base for visiting Mauritius, becasue is far away from all main attractions except 7 color earth and Black River falls.
