A thousand stars for Alimas Staff, very kind and professional! It was our first time in Maldives, we felt in love with this small island! People are friendly, the bikini beach and the reef are very nice. We had the chance to do several excursions organized by the guest house and we enjoyed a lot, everything was perfect! We had the chance to swim with the nurse sharks and turtles, we saw also the sting rays and the mooray. We want to special thanks Rafeeu, Hassan and Fahar, you made our stay very special and we want to say it from the deep of our hearts. We hope to come back soon! Alice and Ejaz

The hotel has a magnificent view of the ocean! The hotel has very warm and helpful staff, and the food is delicious. Everything is clean, and the staff goes out of their way to make sure we are satisfied. We stayed in a family room on the third floor and enjoyed the ocean view from our terrace! It was absolutely beautiful! If we ever visit this atoll again, we will definitely stay at this hotel! Special thanks to the staff member, Hasan, who created a magical atmosphere with his presence!

Our goal for this getaway was simple: to unwind and escape the everyday. We were drawn to this destination for its promise of seclusion, minimal crowds, attractive pricing, and encouraging reviews for a recently launched establishment. We weren't disappointed – it delivered on all fronts. From the outset, communication with the owner and manager via WhatsApp was seamless and helpful, including arranging our transfers. The island is wonderfully intimate; you can explore its entirety in a gentle 10-minute walk. The tranquility, with so few other visitors, was precisely the atmosphere we craved. The accommodation is new, bright, and tastefully furnished, true to the online photos. The room was well-equipped with air conditioning, a fan, a private bathroom with a shower, a mini-fridge, and a safe. We slept soundly on the comfortable double bed, and daily water was a thoughtful touch. The restaurant offers a core menu, but the kitchen team was incredibly flexible, preparing our requests, and the seafood platter was fantastic. Just make sure you arrange this in advance. One of the most memorable moments was when Nya, having heard my wife’s birthday had just passed, surprised her with a cake and candles while the entire staff sang 'Happy Birthday'. It was a genuinely heartwarming gesture that left my wife overjoyed. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, genuinely welcoming, and always smiling. The pristine beach and crystal-clear water were a daily delight. We had incredible encounters with marine life, spotting turtles, small sharks, and even a graceful stingray. Nya also offered a selection of activities at fair prices, enhancing our experience. Ultimately, this was an impeccable choice for the peaceful and rejuvenating holiday we envisioned. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking a private, picturesque, and budget-friendly escape.

If there was a higher score we would give it. The best hotel in the Maldives and we have been to many hotels. Super comfortable beds, excellent Wi-Fi, everything is clean and new. Thanks to the amazing staff, especially Ali and Moosa who took such good care of us every day, we extended our stay here for six days. We just couldn't leave. The hotel is located right on a perfect beach, outstanding snorkeling! The food is super delicious, the locals are amazing, it is highly recommended to take a tour with the wonderful Hassan. Our stay at this Maldivian resort was nothing short of spectacular. The water bungalows were exactly what one imagines when picturing paradise: spacious, elegant, and with private stairs leading straight into the turquoise ocean, where you can spot vibrant corals and colorful fish right beneath you. The daily buffet was truly impressive, offering a variety of both Western and Eastern options, all consistently delicious. Special praise goes to Sous Chef M. Raaji, whose skill and attention to flavor made every meal an absolute delight. We also received exceptional service from Shamveel who, from the second day, already knew our preferred drink before we even ordered. I highly recommend opting for the all-inclusive package; the cocktails at the poolside bar are not to be missed. The gym is well-equipped and functional, providing everything you need to stay active while on holiday. Donna, the personal trainer, was outstanding, always ready to assist with any questions and offering expert guidance. The resort also offers a range of complimentary activities outlined in a weekly program delivered to your room. We enjoyed outdoor cinema nights, yoga classes, and an ecological tour (all free of charge). The setting itself is breathtaking: crystal-clear waters, lush tropical flora, and fascinating marine life. The warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff made our vacation even more memorable.

What an amazing place and experience! The room is always super clean and the hotel is so beautiful, with white walls and blue doors! The common areas are also very clean and well organize. Rafhan and the staff were always very kind, the breakfast and food is very good! It’s located in the best place of the island, with the beach best view in our opinion! We hardly recommend and are already dreaming of coming back!

Everything was amazing. Starting with the human team, we were really impressed with the attention to detail. Starting with our host Murooj and followed by the cleaning service, restaurants, spa team all the ones non customer facing staff that works everyday to ensure you have the best experience. When we arrived at Male, a member of the resort was waiting for us. He picked up our luggage and checked us in for the domestic flight. Then, he took us to a lounge area where we had some beverages and changed our clothes. Timing was ok, we got to Male international airport by 12pm and were in the hotel by 3pm. Once in the hotel, the go-to person for everything was Murooj, our host. We were in contact through WhatsApp pretty much everyday he was the bridge between the different services and us. Everything we wanted, we only had to talk to him and he would make it happen for us. The room was simply out of this world. We stayed in a sunset private pool villa and could enjoy the sunsets from the pool. The villa has its own access to the beach and I have to say that it is pretty private. Few couples passing by but nothing we couldn't bare with. We had a massive bed inside the room and the views in the morning were just stunning with the pool and the sea with all the different blue tones. The bathroom is as per the pictures. It is not the room you will spend most of your time, but it is worth saying that it was another experience to add on top of the above. Our reservation was full board. We didn't book full inclusive because we don't usually drink and in our case, it wasn't worthy. Also since we spent most of the time in our villa, we didn't have the temptation for a beer our a pizza at the pool bar. We drank a couple of cocktails one night that were worth $25, so no brainer for us. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all in the buffet restaurant. It had a big variety of food and deserts. Water and beverages were included as well as teas and coffees.

From the moment we arrived at Six Senses Laamu, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm welcome from the staff, the stunning views of the turquoise waters, and the peaceful ambiance of the island all contributed to a sense of relaxation and tranquility. We would like to extend a special thank you to Shah for going above and beyond to make our stay at Six Senses Laamu truly unforgettable. Your attentiveness and support made our experience remarkable. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to making our vacation a dream come true. Thank you, Shah! The beaches at Six Senses Laamu are some of the most beautiful we have ever seen, and we were impressed with the hotel's commitment to sustainability and care for marine life and animals. It was heartwarming to see the efforts being made to protect the environment and preserve the natural beauty of the island. The food at Six Senses Laamu was exceptional, and we especially loved the breakfast with its broad range of choices. The waffles were a particular highlight, and we looked forward to them every morning. Overall, our stay at Six Senses Laamu exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to everyone who made our experience so memorable, and we cannot wait to return in the future.

We loved everything, it is pure paradise. The room was very clean. Everybody leaves the slippers outside on this island, to prevent sand and dust on the floors. There is ocean view through the palm trees, it is just amazing. The property has a bikini beach in from, as it is located just near the bikini beach of this island. The water was warm shallow, fine sand before the reif started. You can see milions of colored marine life just near the shore in shallow water as the reif is everywhere. The nature is amazing everywhere. The restaurant offers nice food. We requested fresh fish from the ocean one day ahead for our meals. Weena and Fazlan made our stay just amazing, they were so kind and welcoming.

An incredibly beautiful resort, very professionally managed, everything thought to the greatest detail. The views were marvelous, the food was delicious, the staff was polite and friendly, very accessible house reef. A lot of things to do starting from snorkeling excursions to various water sports activities and wellness treatments. Although almost all the villas were occupied, it still seemed very quiet. I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. The food was excellent, the staff extremely supportive and I think that RIU have a near perfect arrangement for the 'all inclusive' experience.

If you are on a budget, using the local ferry's are a big save in regards to travel and make Island hopping do able. They are 3 time the length of time, at 1 tenth of the price of a speedboat. We still enjoyed sitting out front and watching the dolphins swim with the boat. The trip back was empty and we chatted to the crew. (30 min speedboat vs 1h30 Ferry) The Ferry goes ever 2 days so we did the Maafushi to Fulidhoo, slept 2 nights then got onto it again from Thinadhoo. Two beautiful Islands.

The sunset villa was the correct choice for me - got to see one fabulous sunset in the 4 days (in late October) I was there. There is no shading umbrella on the deck so it gets very hot in the afternoon. The room was amply spacious for a couple - watch the two steps down to the bed area, esp if you need to get up in the middle of the night. Lighting was good, AC was not as effective as I'd like (very high ceilings). Toilet is a separate room with the window permanently open (understandable), but it's extremely hot and stuffy in there. They need to place a small fan to circulate the air. Two life jackets in the room for average sized bodies (was a big large for my AU12 size female body). 4 bottles of drinking water per day supplied. The white beach areas were amazingly clean and swept daily. Food isn't that important to me and I'm allergic to alcohol, so all I can say is that the breakfast and themed dinner buffets included in my half board was plentiful and tasty. I think having the half board was the correct choice as a lunch and dinner package in the cafe was USD$195. I'd read that extra activities is expensive - I can definitely confirm that! If you arrive during the day, I'd highly recommend the seaplane transfer - amazing views of the resort (and others) and at 30mins, it is much faster and less bumpy than the 90min boat transfer. The Snorkelling was good but not amazing (I didn't fo out on a separate activity- just from my villa). Fish plentiful and some colorful, a bonus baby shark swam past me. Coral dull in colour.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left they made us feel so welcome and so special. Everyone in the team just wanted to ensure that we had the best time. From the captain/boss Ahmed, to John the host, to Arbi and the waiters, the chef and through to all the guys on the boat. We got to know them all and felt like part of a family. I couldn’t recommend it enough and if we could afford to, we’d go back next week! If you want the bustle of a big resort, then maybe this is not for you, but if you want to be somewhere that celebrates the beauty of nature and all that the Maldives has to offer, with people who love to show that to you, then this is the place for you. We felt like we knew the whole team by the end, they were all so genuine and thoughtful and caring. We’ve seldom had such personal attentive service and we’ve stayed in many places around the world, and they made our 25th anniversary such a special evening. If you want beauty, nature, simplicity, comfort, good food, great service and fantastic adventures with amazing attention to detail then just book Thari Fushi. We miss you all!

You can have a good snorkeling and beach experience here. The islanders far outnumber the tourists. The island is generally quiet and clean but it does have a lot of modern infrastructure in a small area. We didn’t dive but there is a local dive shop. We also saw several live aboards anchored nearby so the diving must be good.

The reef surrounding the island is simply amazing,...

The reef surrounding the island is simply amazing, particularly the exit next to the water villas (nr. 4) and the ones facing north-west (nr. 5 & 6). Just snorkeling we had the chance to see an incredible variety of fishes and corals, we also swam alongside a turtle and sharks a couple of times! Staff is great, always gentle, kind and willing to help and assist. The food is great both in quality and in variety of offer, we really enjoyed our full board selection. We particularly appreciated the lack of "holiday village entertainment" and the authentic look & feel of the island (preserved but not over constructed). The water villas should be refreshed - they are a gem but furniture is not well preserved and now quite old. Currently the villas have 3 kinds of roof, with different colors and some feature colored fabrics covering some pieces: it's a real pity as they do not look premium and ruin the overall scenery. I hope they are just temporary. Additionally, extra costs are quite a burden, as rates are high and you even need to pay for plain water even if on a full board service.
