I was with a friend and his family.
It is a beautiful place.
I had a free transfer.
Food above average (except beef was bad). drinks and service very ok.
The minibar was also ok... with juices, water, beer, rum, gin...etc

I enjoyed pretty much everything.
I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. The food was excellent, the staff extremely supportive and I think that RIU have a near perfect arrangement for the 'all inclusive' experience.

Amazing resort I would highly recommend.
Amazing resort I would highly recommend. This was our second stay at Kandima and our experience exceeded the first. Good selection of meals provided throughout the day and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our shuttle bus driver Gasimm was very patient and informative on the ecosystem. Excellent facilities for children.

Perfect place for total relaxation.
Perfect place for total relaxation. Maybe a few more activities for the ‘oldies’ would be good. We loved the bingo and Kahootz but the party music wasn’t our style. Enjoyed the saxophone player and the Irish singer. During the day maybe trivia or games?

Overall It was amazing experience with wonderful view at the Aqua villa, the staff was nice and very friendly.
Time of travel was too long and exhausting, as it took me almost 17 hrs to reach the Island as I had to take a domestic flight which adds more time to my original long flight.
The food was Ok buy not great, there was not a lot of variation and the menu had many repeated food. Also the menu should offer more details about the food because I don’t know much about asian food; so I didn’t know what I was eating sometimes.

I dont recommend. Fisrt time in Riu and the last one. Food and drinks really really poor. always the same. very annoying. You are treated like a $. Beds very bad very used mattress. I asked to change but they dont change. a really bad smell in the shower. Was a really bad experience in this hotel. Avoid if you want a really good vacay. manager is very unhelpful.

Everything was good apart from the grilled seafood section...
Everything was good apart from the grilled seafood section was the same for 10 days, I only eat grilled food as am diabetic. However it happened that the i chatted with head chef Janaka and he offered me to make different grilled fish but we were leaving on this day when we chatted. Just to mention I rated kandima 10, but all what am saying here is just for improvements only, the gym looked very old and dull with the blue color, the mats were very dirty we decided to stretch in the room instead. We loved the staff saying good bye when we were leaving by boat my wife cried lol she cries all the time 😂 thanks again to everyone especially Luka, Amr, and Tohbi.
