KyrgyzstanThis was my first trip to the Maldives, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The hotel exceeded all my expectations. The staff were the most caring and welcoming I’ve ever encountered — from the very beginning, you can feel their genuine warmth and hospitality.
The room was extremely comfortable with a breathtaking ocean view from a spacious balcony. The beach was absolutely beautiful, with plenty of sun loungers available at any time. The food was top-notch — the Mongolian beef and shrimp dishes were especially memorable.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient. We were greeted at the airport and taken by speedboat directly to the island. On the day of our departure, everything was arranged just as smoothly. The person who met us at the airport gave us a helpful orientation, showing us where to get a local SIM card and exchange currency — it made our arrival stress-free.
This has been an unforgettable experience, and we truly hope to return again soon!

VietnamThe staff was amazing and super helpful during my stay there. My phone charger gate was broken and it shut down on the date before my flight. I was so panic if i could not open the flight ticket on the phone. The Nepalese staff took me to the local electricity shop and luckily the owner of the shop lend me the wireless charger. Thus i was saved that time. The room are clean and comfortable. 100% recommended to stay with a low budget but nice accomodation like this one ♡

The resort is 15 mins travel by boat from the airport which is very convenient. We booked for the sunset water pool villa with private pool and jacuzzi and it's just perfect. The room is neat and clean, spacious and good for snorkeling. We enjoyed the private pool, we've read some comments before that it's small but we really think it's just perfect for the size of the villa. We also had a wedding ceremony/Renewal of our vows and we couldn't be more pleased how it turned out perfectly. Thanks to all the employees who made it very memorable to us. We appreciated much all their effort. Adaaran Prestige is really the top from all the private resorts we have been to. All their employees from the spa and restaurants are very polite and friendly. (we went for a massage twice, it was very good and worth the price) Mr. Anthony is very professional. He coordinated everything well our wedding ceremony and he always makes sure that we would always get the best experience to enjoy our whole stay in the resort. Thank you so much also to our personal butler, Ajay. He is such a genuine and nice person making sure that he arranges and provides all our needs. Thank you to you and to that other lady for capturing our priceless moments during our wedding ceremony. We loved all the photos. Thank you also to the cleaner of our villa for the wonderful decoration in our villa on the day of our Wedding. He makes sure also that our villa is always neat and clean. We tried all the 3 restaurants, have less varieties but it was totally fine. It was also lovely to spend time at the bar every night after dinner and have some drinks and enjoy the music. We stayed for five days and we wanted to have more. if we ever go back to Maldives again, we would definitely choose Adaaran Prestige Vadoo again. Thank you so much again for making our whole stay enjoyable and unforgettable. We are beyond grateful for your dedication and excellent service!

Our stay at Arena Beach Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. They were always attentive, friendly, and willing to assist with anything we needed, whether it was arranging excursions or offering local recommendations.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable – right on the beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the best spots on the island. The rooftop pool and sun deck were perfect for relaxing, and the hotel’s private beach area was pristine and well-maintained.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The restaurant offered a great variety of delicious dishes, and the daily breakfast buffet was a highlight of our mornings.
We genuinely believe Arena Beach Hotel is the best hotel on Maafushi, not just for its prime location but for the warmth and professionalism of the staff. We can’t thank them enough for making our stay so memorable.
Without a doubt, we’ll be back again – this hotel feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Maldives!

This was our 3rd return to Bandos Resort. The perfect location, the excellent house reef and the hospitality of the staff are the reasons we keep returning. This resort is excellently managed and it shows in every aspects. I would specially highlight the Sea Breeze staff and the Pool Bar staff as excellent professionals. Special applause to Aditye and Surej at the pool bar! Also I was really impressed how the wifi quality improved since our last visit. Now you could even watch movies online.
Our accomodation was the Beach Villa. Good news to future travellers, that now all Beach Villas are finished with reconstruction, the quality, freshness of design is superb. The bed was extremely comfortable, I would rate it as the best ever I have experienced in a hotel. I had zero problem with my neck herniation during the whole stay of 10 days. View to ocean also got significantly better from these Villas, as renovation also included gardening renewal.

Amazing food. Six different restaurants to choose from. Fushi restaurant offers a buffet with different selection every day. I highly recommend to book half board. You will save a lot.
Plenty of available water activities. Scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, dolphin tours, etc.
Nice kids club with lots of activities. Outside playground and water castle. Cooking classes. Rockclimbing wall. Karaoke. Game room.
You have bicycles assigned to your room. We were riding the bicycles every day around the island. You just can't can't get enough of the nature.
The whole island just feels so quiet. Most of the time we hardly saw any people during the day. It almost felt like we rented the whole island.

A Perfect Honeymoon Getaway
We had a wonderful honeymoon from start to finish. After a smooth transfer, we were welcomed with early check-in to our stunning private pool villa facing the sunrise—a dreamy start!
The buffet was varied and tasty, the cocktails were excellent, and we enjoyed the à la carte restaurants. The Italian restaurant was a standout, thanks to Dilan, who treated us with kindness and a smile we’ll always remember.
We loved the romantic beach dinner, water sports, and fun excursions—though the snorkeling could have been a bit longer and more vibrant.
Before departure, we were offered a courtesy room to shower, e was a kind gesture, even if the room felt far below the hotel’s standard.
Aside from one unpleasant staff member at the souvenir shop, everything else was fantastic.
Highly recommended—we’d happily return!

In May 2024 we celebrated our honeymoon for 10 days in Malahini Kuda Bandos and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We had a sunset pool villa with private pool, the room was very clean and in perfect condition.
We also had „all inclusive“ booked, which meant three times buffet per day and some alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks during the whole day. Snorkling masks and fins were free, as well as SUP and Windsurf equipment. There also was an option for „all inclusive gold“ which included way more different cocktails from the drinks menu.
All in all, we were overwhelmed by the quality of the buffet and friendlyness of the service personal and our room was a dream. We can totally recommend booking this hotel - it‘s a paradise!

Thank you for fast and smooth boat transfer, did’t have to wait at Male airport. Also thank you for early check-in so we could enjoy the holiday as soon as possible (this is the thing that is not usually available in hotels).
We got villa 181 with beautiful sand beach and view with sea and palms. Not windy, calm & clear water.
The island has about 15 beaches, explored them all by bicycle or walk. The beaches were really beautiful.
Delicious food at breakfast and Rhabarbaro restaurant for dinner. Especially like breakfast buffet with choice of a la carte menu.

The resort is fantastic, the staff is extraordinary friendly and they did everything so we could be able to have an incredible stay in paradise. We swam with wild dolphins, which was a "once-in-a-lifetime-experience". Our Over-Water-Villa was super nice, we had Eagle Rays and a little reef shark swimming right below it.

Beautiful resort island with great facilities for everyone: newly weds, families, couples. There was peace and quiet in some parts (Robinson island feel) and excitement in others.

There are plenty of water activities and options to choose from. The people are very friendly, and I felt extremely safe throughout my stay. The only downside is that evenings are very quiet, with limited nightlife or entertainment.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to our stay in Male and Ulkuhas. It didn't have too much construction ongoing so it wasn't that noisy with minimal debris going around. The beaches are really nice to walk around and lie around too. Snorkelling here is fun too since the shallow parts extend quite a distance before it goes into the coral reef cliff. Excursions here are nice as well since you get to experience snorkelling with nurse sharks, stingrays, and manta rays. Mantas of course are by luck where was the former are usually attracted via feeding. Food-wise, Dolce Vita is a mut-go since the chef is really good (would suggest local dishes, naan+butter chicken, noodles,), price is reasonable, ambience is perfect, and they do not charge any additional fee at all for card payments!

Great local island, it's big enough to have some great restaurants/hotels and small enough to feel like you're seeing how the locals really live. Located within the atoll perfectly, for short hops to resort islands and excursions. 45 mins from male airport.

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
