The staff and the owner were really friendly. The 10 beds dorm is huge which make it confortable and with enough space for people and bags. Common area is also nice and I also enjoyed relaxing by the lake shore. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Mgoza lodge. The room was spacious and clean. The bar/restaurant and garden areas are great places to relax and enjoy the stunning view of lake Malawi, as well as talk to other guests. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious. The local community around the lodge are friendly. There was often electricity cuts (not through the fault of the lodge) so a torch and battery bank was useful to have. We only wished we could have stayed longer!
