This place is heaven, I didn’t want to leave! The staff are incredible and made me feel so comfortable. The grounds themselves are stunning, my room was so comfortable, air conditioning works so well, cocktails by the beach were divine.

We had an awesome stay there for our honeymoon. Hotel is clean, and very beautiful in the middle of the forest! Great for relaxing and disconnecting. The highlight is the service: Arturo, Jorge, and all other employees are VERY responsive and super kind, they should be very well rewarded for their exceptional work! Food is insanely good, 10/10. This accommodation was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, Esther warmly welcomed us, provided all the information we needed, and proactively took care of everything. The property is stunning and impeccably maintained, with beautiful rooms, warm shower water, a pool, hammocks, bean bags, and more. The breakfast was delicious and always more than enough. We highly recommend having a car, as it makes exploring the surrounding area much easier. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, and we would recommend it to anyone. We’d love to come back ourselves! It’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Tulum and truly enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Safe and quiet area. Everything was spotlessly clean. Towels and linen white and soft. Seems to be quite new, too. I think I must have been the first one to cook in that kitchen. Antonietta was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Where do I start? Nothing short of mind blowing! The 5 star service with staff that are there to help you at every turn! ! The fabulous restaurants and bars that cater for every taste and desire! The well laid out rooms which have obviously been meticulously planned to make your visit so comfortable and seamless! The spotless grounds and gardens! The well-orchestrated transport provided to and from each of the theme parks! I will be shouting the praises of this property to anyone and everyone who’ll listen and we will definitely return.

The Mayan tribal ceremony held around us just after check in was very unexpected and a beautiful surprise! staff are very polite and friendly. the breakfast included was amazing - best we had in Tulum. definitely worth trying out this hotel for its unusual earthy ambience. it definitely captures the Mother Earth and spiritual vibe! prices are not the most budget friendly but if you can even just do one or two nights it will be an amazing treat!

One of the best hotels i have ever stayed for vacation. Very good food in Buffet Restaurant Tulum. Saff of all departements are extreme friendly and work hard. Pool and Jungle are amazing. Not a place to stay more than 2 nights in my opinion Lots of stalls selling tours. Though beach free to access north of the ferry terminal. There is only a narrow strip of sand in many areas due to beach resort hotels roping it off. Lots of restaurants, in the evening a few bars are so loud it makes the area unpleasant ( unless you like noise). Beaches are cleared of seaweed every morning Head south to Tulum or North to Poerto Morelos for better experience

Monsoon season, meant a lot of sea weed on beaches although locals trying to keep of top of its removal and in the sea , stopping swimming, mosquitoes due to damp humid weather . Taxi is very expensive as no other public transport,so they can charge what they want , hire of scooters is cheaper.

Very nice beach town which escaped from the big resorts and party places along the Riviera Maya. It has some nice places to eat and drink, so everything you need to find rest and peace with an amazing view and feel of the coastline near Cancun

My FAVORITE cenotes were at Sac Actun and Ecopark Kantun Chi. Sac Actun requires a guide, but it's not as expensive as some of the other places. The cenote is beautiful and they provide you with wetsuits (which helps a LOT with the cold) and goggles. It was a very cool experience. Ecopark Kantun Chi has 5 cenotes but we bought the entrance that allows you to go 4 of them without a guide. For us, this was perfect because we could spend as much time as we wanted at each spot and they were all so different and beautiful. I loved #3, which was an open sky cenote with a waterfall and #4, which was a really cool cave with spots where the sunlight streamed in from above. We got to see some lobsters there too. Also a very cool feature is that there are kayaks in several of the cenotes so you get to explore them that way as well. Another cool spot was Languna Yal Ku where we got to snorkel in calm water and see so many different types of fish. I highly recommend wearing clothing that covers your arms and legs since sunscreen isn't permitted and you are directly exposed to the sun the whole time. For meals, we enjoyed traveling to both Akumal Pueblo (for some simple and cheaper meals) and Akumal Playa on the other side of the road for some more variety.

What a cool spot!

What a cool spot! We are definitely not the all inclusive resort kind of travelling family. So when we stumbled upon Puerto Adventuras, we were hapily impressed. There was so much to do within walking distance. There is a park, kids camps, beautiful beaches, swimming pools, amazing choice restaurants, and an overall really cool vibe. I liked it because although it felt like - yes this is definitely an international tourist destination - it also felt grounded and down to earth. In addition to the travellers who pass through, many people live and work in Puerto Adventuras giving it a really lovely family neighbourhood feel.

This hotel is not for families, it was way to much noise all night long drunk people scream in the hallways , our door was nock at 1-3 in the morning woke up our children age 2y, 6y, 8y. The staff were so helpless, unfriendly and rude. Every time we had to eat was so stressful cause the waiters will be so mad and we will ask for things like water they will take for ever to give to us. It was a buffe every time but water wasn’t available or even a spoon. They drop drinks next to ur table they didn’t clean it the whole breakfast we were there, i was so afraid any of us will fall down. Front Thea people never knew the answer. Overall we were so disappointed. It feel like a super cheap hotel, full of a lot of drunk people. I read bad reviews and didn’t payed attention but I wish I did. I’m not happy at all with this hotel experience and I’m not planing to eve go back. The ocean was the only thing was good about our trip.

Small typical town for the area without many tourists. A couple of good local options for simple restaurants (we ate at Los Primos) which offered good food at reasonable prices. Felt perfectly safe to walk/drive around after dark here as well.

Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico.

Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico. Not many tourists not many places like restaurants or shops. Its full of sargaso and at the moment properties cant deal with it and many of them are on the beach. But you can have nice excursions to see dolphins at the nature ,we took the fishers boat and went to see dolphins and turtles do some snorkel,kids loved it! But this place is far and the road is not good.

The restaurant needs better management, Service was terrible most of the guests had to wait almost 2 hours to be served with breakfast. I got tired of that service and started to have breakfast, a better breakfast somewhere else.

It's a tourist trap.

It's a tourist trap. Everyone is trying to sell you something, even young children (it's non-stop haggling). The beach is brown and smelly from the enormous amount of seaweed. Cancun or Riveria Maya are much better choices.
