We stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel Dallas Arlington from July 4 to July 7 and were absolutely thrilled with our experience. As a couple from Switzerland who has spent over 50 nights in U.S. hotels over the past two years, we can confidently say: this was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Our 2-room suite with a king bed was spacious, spotless, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and we both slept like a dream every night. The cleanliness throughout the hotel, from the room to the lobby and breakfast area, was outstanding. What really stood out, though, was the warmth and professionalism of the staff, both at reception and in the restaurant. Check-in and check-out were fast, friendly, and completely hassle-free. We also appreciated the generous breakfast each morning: great variety, high quality, and plenty of seating, even at peak times. Although we missed the evening “Kickback” due to our time at Six Flags Park, we could tell that this hotel offers far more than the basics. It's very well located, the price-performance ratio is excellent, and it’s clear that this hotel is run with care and attention to detail. From now on, we’ll specifically look for Drury Hotels when booking future U.S. trips; this experience set a new standard for us. Highly recommended!

Super smooth stay. Staff was great, everything worked perfectly, from the gym to the pool (even if it rained a bit). Loved the breakfast (fresh fruit, not just sugar stuff) and the evening kickbacks with free drinks and bites. Big plus for the parking garage. Just a great experience overall.

Everything about this hotel is top notch! We arrived passed midnight and was greeted very well by Gerald. The room is spacious and it's clean. The staffs are very friendly, the breakfast is good. The facilities are sufficient. The hotel has coin laundry facilities. Although the location is not in the city center, but it's only 15 mins away by Uber.

Houston has a lot to offer.

Houston has a lot to offer. Wide variety of restaurants for any budget. Ate at Pit Room, Dish Society, Dough Zone and Maximo's among others. Professional and college sports available. Variety of museums but especially enjoyed the Museum of Fine Arts. Excellent zoo. Menil Collection and Rothko Chapel with surrounding green space and sculptures nice area for respite in the city. Upscale shopping at Kuhl-Linscomb is worth checking out.

Use the parking garages near the capital building or use app for parking on street. Hotels have valet parking for about $45 a day. Walk through Congress and 6th Street and try out coffee and doughnut shops all along the way. Try the city bus tour but use bathroom before and during stops with minimal water bottle drinks. Duck tour is fun. Most restaurants are expensive and some require reservations but are wonderful. There are many museums and places of interest during the day and night. Favorite place to eat dinner (check hours) Korean House, which is a drive NW of the Capital. Traffic is crazy. Other favorite place to eat and shop is HMart near Lakeline Blvd/183A.

I like that Paso my room was disgusting the door was horrible it wouldn't lock right if you look at the door needs to be replaced and obviously they haven't did that the floor base in the bathroom if you step on that water will pop up obviously they have a leak in the pipe so I kind of figured they don't expect the rooms. I didn't want to smoking room she said that was all they had. When I complained about the key not working on door they should have switched me but according to them that was the only room and I don't believe that

Ft. Worth is a great city with lots of very different and unique areas to explore. A great walkable downtown, lots of restaurants and stores. The Stockyards area is so much fun, there is a cattle drive each day (twice a day) where you will see real cattle with cowboys herding them down main street, and don't miss a visit to BIlly Bobs - ride the mechanical bull, see rodeo when one is in town, great bands play there, the place is huge and family friendly during the day, and a great place for adults to party at night. There are also great, and numerous, museums in Ft. Worth that shouldn't be missed, my favorite is the Cowgirl Hall of Fame, a real little jewel in this big city with a small town feel. People are friendly, it's just a fun town with so much to see, so much history of the west, fab restaurants and casual enough to be welcoming to everyone!

I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had,...

I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, entirely because of the airport shuttle service and the staff’s careless, unprofessional handling of a very simple request. According to the Booking.com listing, the hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle, so I followed the instructions carefully and waited at Entry D15, exactly where the “Courtesy Van Pickup” sign is located. I sent several messages but received no response for over an hour. I finally had to purchase a U.S. phone number—just to call the hotel—because I had already wasted both time and money waiting. When I called, the staff told me to go to “D1,” insisting it was the closest point to D15. Anyone who knows this airport layout can see that there is no such place as D1. But the staff kept repeating “Go to D1,” so I asked airport employees, searched Google Maps, and walked 30 minutes with my luggage to the only location labeled “D1,” which turned out to be an empty construction site with nothing there. I called again for clarification, and instead of taking responsibility or providing proper guidance, the staff responded carelessly and dismissively. At this point I had already wasted nearly 3 hours at the airport due to their misinformation. Uber cannot even be called from that area, so I had to walk another 30 minutes back to D15 with my bags before I finally managed to get a ride. When I arrived at the hotel exhausted and frustrated, no one apologized. The staff acted as if nothing had happened—no acknowledgement, no explanation, nothing. After the nightmare they had caused, they were still unfriendly and unapologetic. This was, without exaggeration, the worst service I have ever received at any airport hotel. The shuttle information is misleading, the staff are completely untrained, and their attitude borders on negligence. I will never use this hotel again, and I strongly advise other travelers to avoid

Beautiful historical buildings, great selection of restaurant, cafes, bars and shops. Lots of history, a great place to stay for a few days or prior to joining a cruise. I only stayed 1 night and would staff for 2 or even 3 in future. Felt very safe walking around on my own during the day.
