Everything! Hotel is very clean, room spacious and the bed very comfortable! Good location with many food possibilities around the corner. Staff and the hostess are so friendly and helpful. But because our cash BND a limited and the money changer already close, the receptionist offer us to paid the room using Cash BND & deposit using cash MYR. Then it settle just like that 🤭 - I love our room, we got the 3rd floor and have prayer room there - TV got a problem, call the receptionist & the maintenance came immideately to solve it - toiletry is complete & we love it - a hearty breakfast. Have fried rice, fried meehoon, veges, fish fillet ala Thai, popiah goreng, pisang goreng, boiled egg, tomyam soup, porridge, bread with 3 type spread, egg sandwich, 2 type cereal, hot water & juice, and 2 type fruits. We have our breakfast for 1 hour 🤣 - Ambiance good

We had lovely time in Damai Beach Resort. Since the receptioninst made a mistake and put into the wrong category of accomodation, we have seen both. Invest into the premium category, you will not regret it. That part of the hotel is a paradise. The standart category is ok but it doesnt even get half way to the experience you get on the top of the hill. There are great pools in the resort and you practically have the beach for yourself.

Amazing location in Kinabalu Park. We stayed in a Peak Cottage and woke up to a wonderful view of Mt Kinabalu. The cottage was perfect for our family of three. Great to have a separate lounge area. For us, this was a stop over between Sepilok and Kota Belud. It was perfect for the night and a reprieve from the heat. Lots of information on walking trails in the area. We choose to visit the botanical gardens, and they didn't disappoint

Spacious and peaceful. Backdrop was very beautiful. Waterfall at the back of the property was worth the walk. Well kept grounds with beautiful hydrangeas. Easy to communicate with host and grounds keepers were all lovely and helpful even though English was not their first language.

Good location for snorkeling and fishing trips. Lovely islands to visit fir swimming. Easy access with the ferries. Best place for western pub food and glass of cold wine was Shoneys bar and grill Best island for snorkeling was Mengalum but one and half hours by boat.

The Marian is full of character, being an old colonial style...

The Marian is full of character, being an old colonial style building, and our King room, overlooking the pool, had its own balcony area (lovely to sit and watch the birds in the garden), good air con and efficient shower in the bathroom. The pool and area around it is great. The staff in reception were friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. The hotel is situated very close to the water front, craft stores, Carpenter Street and quite near to a shopping mall. We would have liked to have stayed longer. The “roti canai” at the Indian restaurant near the Harmony Arch is super. Don’t miss the coloured lights and water fountains on the river at 8:30pm. You can watch them whilst having a beer at the James Brooke Restaurant.

Kundasang is truly a gem in Sabah! Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and cool, refreshing air, it’s the perfect destination for a peaceful getaway with family. The scenic drive up is already a treat, and once you arrive, the lush greenery and serene atmosphere make it feel like a world away from the city. We enjoyed exploring local attractions like the Desa Dairy Farm, the Alpaca Club, the vegetable markets, and the beautiful gardens. The old town looks old and worn.

The old town looks old and worn. Needs a coat of paint and touch up. Too many old and abandoned buildings but oh well, it’s the entrance town to get to the Kinabatangan for wildlife spotting and Sepilok for the Orang Utan and sun bears.

Combination of classic/old town and modern living. The best thing in Sibu for me is the variety of food that you can have with cheap price! Of course my favorite is the Kampua Mee. If you love shopping, there's lot of shops where you can buy things for low price. But of course, the Sibu Night Market is the most attractive place for me.

Bintulu town is a great place to visit.

Bintulu town is a great place to visit. Been to the local beach in the evening after the visit to the Tumbina park. Few good malls we visited n did a bit shopping. Nice restaurants around town n not difficult to find them while driving around. Would like to stay at Similajau National Park once the park is open for overnight stay.

To be honest, i cant find anything that is more interesting other than cheap beer, chocolate and excellent beach! Labuan does not have that is to offer me staying longer than 2 days. Its because Labuan does not have big malls, does not have proper travelling experience nor anything that give an interest for tourist. Except for having huge event or occasions. The town planner or Labuan Corporation have nothing to create in terms of tourist attractions! Its like waiting for something to be done by the government.

sabah pork noodle at hing lee & union cafe....the sabah pork noodle is good......union cafe egg tarts , chicken pie & Hainanese coffee & tea is good. sea food is not so expensives compared with kuala lumpur. deep sea fishes , lobsters.....paku vege...is good grab car available .....all nearby location for food.rm4 to rm6 fare. do not waste your time to visit the cocoa museum....charge rm50 per head and need to make appointment . [ waste of time ] see the famous jci clock tower with the fish, crab , prawn roundabout- FOC

Walk down to the river jetties and take a boat ride.

Walk down to the river jetties and take a boat ride. Best time 4-6pm. No need to book. See the long nosed monkeys, crocodiles and other wildlife in the rainforest. 1 hour tour cost $35. Amazing adventure not to be missed.
