We had an absolutely amazing stay at PARKROYAL Langkawi. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our experience truly special. The food was fantastic, and the Sky Pool with its breathtaking view of the open sea and surrounding islands was unforgettable. Watching the sunset on the beach was the perfect ending to each day. This was the best hotel we ever stayed at. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by rainforest, and has a lovely private beach. The water is always warm. The gardens are very well taken care of and the decoration of all the inside spaces is just perfect. There are many wild animals around the gardens (monkeys, lizards, etc), but the room is extremely clean and we never had any intruders. Our room was beautiful, larger than it seems in the photos. The restaurants are a bit expensive compared to the ones outside the hotel, but the price is justified by the excellent quality of the food and the attentive waiters. We felt that in this hotel, the guests are truly taken care of and all the staff makes an effort to provide you the best experience, with small surprises in the room everyday, for example. We also did a rainforest tour organized by the hotel that we enjoyed a lot, and the guide was very knowledgeable.

Outstanding bedroom and bathroom size, plus facilities and local decor, cleanliness and tidy - inside in the room and throughout the resort. Wonderful forest and waterfront feel to the entire resort with openness, clean and winding roads. Staff were amazingly friendly and really looked after us and even gave us a room to clean up, long after we had checked out. The breakfast is amazing (and we have travelled to many places to compare) - it has excellent spacious seating, modern and local decor, and the variety and selection of breakfast is top class with local cultural cuisines and international, plus make your own style egg and paratha omelette. Location is superb - including our room had a wonderful view given by the hotel.... local to Skycab / Skyride / Skybridge / Oriental Village / Tulaga Hujju waterfall and mountain etc etc .... Plus so many great roadside restaurant / eateries along the route to / from the resort plus the coconut water and stalls. Excellent value for money with the offer that the hotel had on booking.com

Everything in this hotel was very good. Starting from many facilities they have such as the big pool. I like that the pool is big enough and has different deeps starting from 0.8 m to 2.3 m. Also, there is a Jacuzzi to relax after a long trip day. Furthermore, the beach of the hotel was extremely nice with white and deep sands and crystal water. Also, the garden of the hotel is quite big where you can take a walk there or relax. Now, lets go to the room. The room was very clean and comfort. The bathroom is also big enough with all facilities needed inside. Moreover, I like the size of the room as it fits all of my family members and the fact that there is Balcony with sea view in it. Finally, the breakfast was good as there was good verities of food to select. I really like their croissants as it was very crispy. To sum up, I highly recommend to stay in this hotel if you are visiting Langkawi and would like to stay next to the beach.

There are beaches that are far more better , Sand is mixed and not getting filtered from shells Sea water not clear and greenish ,water not clear and when you open your eyes you see nothing. and there are dangers such as venomous jellyfish and stone fish that you might stumble upon Although there are good attractions such as island hopping tours and set ski and parasailing that was very nice but if you are expecting the swimming experience l don’t recommend Restaurants are good and food is great with a lot of choices ,also halal ! And you can find nice souvenir shops

As there is no much tourist attractions surrounding Kuah, I...

As there is no much tourist attractions surrounding Kuah, I just suggest to book rooms in Cenang area and roam using Grab taxis. If you stay in Kuah, It's better to hire a personal private rental vehicle. Cenang is bit costlier than Kuah but worth paying to cut your personal car requirement if you opt to stay in Kuah.

Beautiful, clean, not much traffic jam even though during holiday season, beautiful landscaping around waterfront of Sungai Raja, Dataran Alor Setar which is so happening at night and nice scenery during day time, beautiful historical building and great history for you to explore. Masjid Zahir is a must visit spot. Don't forget to visit Paddy Museum and Kota Kuala Kedah too.

It is a small peaceful town with lots of shops you find in big cities. The food is cheap. The Pasar Tani was interesting. It is situated behind Restoran Berkat. This restaurant consists of a few stalls serving local delicacies. A must come for people not familiar with the local food. There is a more modern township called Amanjaya for the younger ones. But I prefer the area around the famous Clock Tower.

There are many places to eat and enjoy the local food. Kulim is a small place so it was easy to get around by car. We went to a special restaurant serving western food called Akar Lima for dinner and found the food pretty good.

No negatives at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of restaurants with excellent food. Our room was large and very comfortable with big terrace and lovely views over the gardens. Beach was stunning and incredibly quiet.

Its just a great vacation here.. the staff is so friendly and the place was just too great.. i wish they have a lift so that customer can bring up their stuff easily.. overall very satisfied and if have a chance will come again to this beautiful place..

Small town, not suitable for shoppers.

Small town, not suitable for shoppers. Recommended for those who enjoying eating. Recommended place is Dusun Riffa which can spend time from 9 am - 7 pm with good scenery, clean place and very good food. Also recommended KinKin Restaurant which is cheap but tasty. A few more good foods but can find other places as well. Bundle shops - there are a lot of good stuff to shop with good quality.

A beach totally taken over by skijets.

A beach totally taken over by skijets. Very dangerous place wirh hundreds of skijets and boats. Cars and scooters driving on the bech. Smell of gas is very powerfull. What could be a dream beach is destroyed by skijets. Very lively during the evening/night wirh fire shows. Not many places with shadow.
