Of particular note, the staff were absolutely terrific, always smiling, friendly, helpful and willing to put in the extra effort to ensure a memorable stay. There was no obvious pecking order of seniority or demarcation of roles which ensured a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail was well thought out, and the overall atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. One of the highlights of the hotel was the beautiful library – a charming spot to relax with a book or simply enjoy the ambiance. Breakfast each morning was delicious and varied, and the food and views at the Sky Bar were equally impressive. Staff was super friendly and attentive. My room was comfortable with a super large and comfy bed. I slept like a dream with no noise, just nature at my door. The food was excellent, although I was not that into the game meaty dishes served. Just my personal preference. The game drive was so informative, but I wish I could have been on more than one occasion. The shuttle service was well appreciated. I can warmly recommend the beer garden and restaurant. My tent was hot during the day but cooled down during the night, so sleeping was pleasant. InDrive in Windhoek makes getting round very easy.
InDrive in Windhoek makes getting round very easy. However the location markers seem tricky - either drivers can't find you or the time indicated in the App is not correct. Ordering food ahead and going to collect at restaurants made evenings after work very easy. The Col'cacchio restaurant at Grove Mall had a fabulous view of the setting sun over drinks or dinner.
