It was an unexpected change of plans which turned out perfectly. The owner of this hotel is super interesting person, the place itself is nice and clean, the internet was more than enough to get my work done, and the co-travellers I met over there are people I am still in touch with. Amazing location close to the airport, I stayed both when I arrived and when I was leaving Nicaragua. I got a convenient transfer to the airport and to Popoyo. Staff was very nice and helpful, I learned a lot about Nicaragua during my drive, it was like a guide tour experience. Lovely breakfast and water included. Definitely recommend, also great value for money 🙂

I must say that i am doing this review as Oscar the owner has been a nice gentleman. I missed my connection to Managua and we were stranded in Nassau. Therefore i could not stay at La Bicicleta. On top the airline company lost my bag in Madrid. After concersation with Oscar he made a nice gesture and therefore i really want to do this positive review.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Just a short walk from the Tica bus terminal - I walked in the dark and I'm a female travelling alone. Of course you can also take a taxi. This place was such a great find. Amazing artwork throughout, covering every inch of space. Such character and quaintness. Would definitely stay again.

Good location and close to airport. The facilities were fantastic and the staff were fantastic. We had to take and early morning flight so we checked out at 5 am. The breakfast at that time was only coffee and pastry....

Managua isn't a super historic or beautiful city, but if you are looking to see what modern urban Nicaragua looks like, maybe spend a day here? The waterfront at Salvador Allende is pretty, and the city centre has a couple of monuments and museums.

Best beachfront in the area, better than nearby resort by a long shot. Friendly staff, ice cold beers right next door. Basic accommodations, nothing fancy but more than adequate for our needs. Everyone loved it.

love the city, if you have never visited, I recommend taxi...

love the city, if you have never visited, I recommend taxi service, there is no Uber here. Also the food is great and the value way better than other places. I hired a cab driver for all my trips and he was OK with me texting him for pick ups and drop offs at the last minute. Not every cab driver has the flexibility. I also visited other cities for day trips.
