Staff was really helpful The room so nice, bathroom super stylish and modern. Super selection in breakfast buffet. The art around the hotel was joy to see 🙂 Hotel is right across to train terminal and tram stop both ways behind station, great way travel if you wants to visit *Ulriken" Mountain Solid work that they could recommend car parking really close to the hotel, discount for parking a bonus. I came with ferry, tried to search for parking beforehand but homepage for parking options around town wasnt helpful.Guest review byRobertDenmark

Bergen is absolutely beautiful.
Bergen is absolutely beautiful. It is certainly worth noting that it is the rainiest city in Europe! But we did get lucky on our trip with a lovely sunny day. We stayed in central Bergen for 5 nights (6-11 October), which was a perfect length of time for us. Our apartment was on Grønnegaten, close to the Lille Lungegårdsvannet. We explored the city with its beautiful architecture. Restaurants/cafes are fairly expensive (coming from Cambridge/London, UK), but we stayed somewhere with a kitchen so ate in in the evenings. We walked up Fløyen (1 hour to the top from our apartment, very accessible road route) and got the funicular down (75 NOK one way). We also walked up Ulriken --- Google Maps took us a bit of a weird route (from our apartment to the Skyskraperen restaurant at the top of Ulriken, the walk went via Kolstien bus stop) that felt like we were going through someone's back garden (we weren't), but it took us about 2.5 hours total to walk from our apartment to the top. A more challenging walk with lots of water and a bit of scrambling. Definitely wouldn't have wanted to do it in the rain --- we got lucky with a dry sunny day. We got the cable car down (240 NOK one way). We also got the train from Bergen to Voss (536 NOK return) and the Voss gondola up the mountain (360 NOK return). I'd recommend all of these activities! It was also great that all the tickets could be purchased online and contactless/Apple Pay was widely accepted. Everyone we interacted with also spoke amazing English and was very friendly.Guest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Voss is very easy to reach by train or bus, and it's very well connected. There's a cable car to whisk you up the mountain, and from there there are walking paths over the fells, and to ski lifts. There's also plenty of nice places to walk in the town and buses to take you to more remote places to walk. The town has some nice places to eat and drink, but it isn't overly touristy. It's an excellent base for visiting Sognefjord and Flåm -- I did a nice circuit on train, ferry and bus and packed a huge amount of gorgeous landscapes into a day.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord...
Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord scenary. It has the other point of interest in that there is a, no longer functioning in its original capacity , factory in the middle of the Fjord. Because it poses no environmental problems any longer. This factory gives the Fjord an interesting historical relevance. The proprietors are obviously always improving the function of the accomodation to suit lots of different styles of travellers. We stayed in a three bedroom, self catering apartment with views on both sides. We had a drink in the evening looking over the lake and the waterfall and dinner at night looking over the Fjord. The walks in the area are popular because they are so full of natural beauty and thus attract many hikers and campers . The town felt slightly off piste from the over used tourist pathways which suited us perfectly.Guest review byRosemary SusanAustralia - 10.0

We went from Bergen to Odda on Saturday and spent one night at the hostel. We went for the hiking on Sunday early morning and back to Bergen at the afternoon. The small town is really cosy and beautiful.Guest review byYuxueNetherlands - 10.0
Eidfjord is a really beautiful city.
Eidfjord is a really beautiful city. We enjoyed every moment there with those landscapes. Mountains, river and sandbeach will give you more relaxiation. You will have everything that will need for your stay. There is a small supermarket as well though we didn't think about the price ;-)Guest review bySandunSri Lanka - 10.0
Røldal is a small and a beautiful town.
Røldal is a small and a beautiful town. Nice walk in the nature also the views are fantastic. We did not explore the local food there because we are vegetarian. But tried coffee and Bakari. It was nice. You can see some good waterfall and steep mountains around the town and good water bodies. We did not swim but I think there are some places you can go swimming also saw some people kayaking. Folgefonna glacier is approximately one and half hour drive from the town. Given a chance you must go. It is just awesome.Guest review byAmitNorway - 10.0
The Ulvik cideries were fantastic.
The Ulvik cideries were fantastic. Walking, biking, and jogging around the town and the surrounding area was so fantastic. One of the farms has an Excellent bakery that is open on Friday afternoon (only for a few hours that one day). Kayaking in the fjord was incredible. Exploring the surrounding areas and waterfalls was simply amazing. Great hikes all around. The town has limited options for groceries and places to eat out, but nevertheless provides everything needed. Definitely worth a visit for a quiet spot to explore the beautiful nature of Norway.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Bergen was an amazing place with beautiful nature, warm people, great atmosphere, and plenty of attractions—I would definitely come back. We took a boat trip too Flam one way and Flam train on the way back. It was an amazing experience. Unfortunatley we could not visit to many museums as they were closed on Monday.Guest review byDorotaIreland - 8.0

Nice place, good breakfast, employees spoke English fairly well and were nice. Very good location on the lake. Recommend requesting a room away from the elevator as it’s extremely loud and will keep you awake if you don’t have ear plugs.Guest review byAnnUnited States - 8.0
The accommodation was spacious, new, modern and well-...
The accommodation was spacious, new, modern and well-equipped. It is a series of separate apartments on the first, second and third floors. Access is from a door on the street and it is not possible to unload a car from in front of the building. You have to park in another location but there is plenty of free parking available nearby. To get up to the apartments there is only a narrow stairway. The first floor apartment has a door opening on to a large roof-space with very nice views of the fjord and surrounding town.Guest review byCarolinaBrazil
